I spent so much money on batteries before purchasing this. I was using my pump on the go and while it was handy to not have to plug it in, most of time I was in the car using the battery pack and it ran through the batteries so fast. This works in your car adapter and is so helpful. I have medela in style pump.

I was fooled by this cord at first. I was mad because I thought it didn’t work with my medela symphony because the screen didn’t turn on, however, IT DOES GIVE POWER and works better than the cord from medela

Works great, just make sure that you've unplugged the AC cord from the back of the unit. For over two months it feels like we've been going someplace or another every weekend and it's always at least an hour away. With this great little adaptor she can get our twins next meal ready at 65 MPH while they sleep.

This adapter is cheap, so I guess you get what you pay for. The description said it was compatible with a Medela Symphony pump, but it did not even power the pump on. Zero stars.

We bought this charger for a long road trip. My wife had to pump trip and -- so far -- charger is still working ok with the Medela Symphony. We were afraid of its reliability, but we had no problem on the road, and my wife felt no difference in the pump suction. This charger was, definitely, a lifesaver!

Bought it in May, used it a handful of times and it stopped working in August.

Will power the letdown mode, then cut out when the pump enters expression mode. There seems to be confusion as to what voltage this Medela Pump-in-style requires, as the medela problem-ridden battery packs are 12V, and the wall adapter is 9V. The pump itself has no markings on it, so your mileage may vary with this adapter.
