I got this to use in my husband's truck so I can bring my large water bottle on trips. It fits perfectly. It stays put and seems sturdy.

Finally a cup holder that works well. Other cup holders did not hold our beverages so we are very pleased this does. Thumbs up

If you use a larger water bottle and it won't fit in your car's cup holder, this cup holder is for you. It twists down into the car's cupholder until it sort of locks in place, and securely holds my larger Hydro Flask (32 oz). It's a simple design and quite effective - no more water bottles rolling around on the passenger car seat because they won't fit in the cupholder! One downside is this device takes up some of the room of the 2nd cupholder, so you cannot use 2 of these at the same time. Good news is that a regular size water bottle/hydro flask can still fit in the 2nd cupholder when this Seven Sparta Expander is installed. It twists out easily when you want to remove it. Happy we found this so we can stay hydrated!

Easy to install and holds my 40 oz water bottle really well, but might be too snug of a fit for some. It is a bit hard to pull my water bottle out and my kids have to use two hands to get out sometimes (ages 10+). I considered trimming the rubber tabs that hold it on place, but it got easier as I used it more (and probably due to getting a little bit of dust and such on them so they didn't grip so well). I have had my water bottle overflow into this cup holder upon warming up but it's easy to clean it out with the removable rubber pad in the bottom of it.

Genius! This cup holder is exactly what I need to hold the larger bottles of water that I carry with me. I had trouble putting it together because I am not mechanically inclined, but my husband did it in a snap. It looks great, and it is the perfect size. I love that it is adjustable, and that I can easily move it from one vehicle to the next as needed. It is quite sturdy, so it should last for many, many years.

This expandable feet extra cup holder is a good idea unfortunately it is not designed to work with a 2004 S10 Chevy SUV. While it is big enough to hold my water bottle that I have it does not stable enough to stay locked into the original beverage holes in the beverage holder of the suv. This is too bad because I was really hoping that it would be satisfactory. It's a good design just not for my SUV.

I had originally bought a Gorilla Grip cup holder expander, but it was too tall & it only worked for a week before it became loose. So I tried the Seven Sparta for my Owala 24 oz Free Sip with Silicone Bumper. The Seven Sparta is much shorter than the Gorilla Grip, which I prefer. To properly fit my Owala with the silicone bumper, I did have to trim a tiny bit off of each of the tabs inside the expander, but it holds my bottle perfectly, & it allows me to pull my bottle out without the expander pulling up. I was a little concerned about the Seven Sparta not staying tight in the cup holder like the Gorilla Grip, as they both fit in the cup holder the exact same way. And it's probably the height of the Gorilla Grip that makes it top heavy, which is what caused it to become loose after a week, but so far the Seven Sparta is still just as tight as when I installed it.

Let me tell you, this was a huge upgrade from our last cup holder expander. Our last one didn't fit the cup holder and we had to put a can sleeve on it to keep it from moving around too much. It also broke eventually. THIS one, however, is incredibly sturdy. It's easy to set up and adjust to the size of your cup holder. If you set it up at the proper angle, it doesn't budge unless you wiggle it too much. We have those huge Costco thermoses and they fit perfectly. This is where the "almost" too perfectly comes in. With the non-slip bottom part of the thermos, it slides right in. However, you REALLY have to wiggle it to get it out, which can be a hassle when you're trying to take a drink while you're driving. If you wiggle it too much, it thinks that you are trying to adjust the tightness of the base, which can loosen it a bit. A solution to this would be to remove the non-slip part of the bottle for the time being. I would still rather deal with this than a flimsy cup holder that moved around too much.

These are really nice for coffee mugs or larger travel mugs. Many vehicles have shallow cup holders that drinks move and splash. These were great in my Jeep for offloading.

Used it once and it snapped in half

I am using this for my VCross...At the onset, the price scared me....after good amount of research, I went ahead and placed an order. This is magical and must get for folks who are suffering from their existing car cup holder which can only hold a drink can...I wish this can be made in India!
