Thoughtful well made design that just works
I bought this item mainly to help protect my dogs during car rides. They tend to get hot and overstimulated easily, especially in warm weather or when there's a lot going on outside the vehicle. This product has been a total game changer. My dogs are reactive and easily distracted by other cars, pedestrians, or animals. The mesh design of these shades helps reduce visual stimuli while still allowing them to see out just enough to stay calm and engaged. Plus it significantly cuts down on the heat coming in through the windows, keeping the interior noticeably cooler something I really appreciate during summer drives. The sunshade blocks a good amount of direct sunlight without completely blacking out the view. It offers solid UV protection and makes the backseat much more comfortable for both pets and people. I've noticed a definite drop in cabin temperature, especially during midday/afternoon sun. An unexpected but welcome benefit is the bug blocking feature. I can roll down the windows slightly for fresh air without worrying about bugs getting in and/or the dogs jumping out, this is especially handy on camping trips or evening drives when bugs are most active. The shades are super easy to slip over the top of the car door and fit snugly. They’re easy to take off, fold, and store when not needed. The material feels durable and well made. You can quickly wipe them down or even rinse them off if they get dirty from paws or weather. The design is super practical, it’s a full coverage, stretchy mesh that slips right over the car door, covering the entire window from top to bottom. Unlike stick on shades that only block part of the window or fall off over time, this stays in place securely and doesn’t shift around, even when you’re opening or closing doors frequently. The mesh is breathable, which means you can roll the windows down while the shade is still on, a huge plus. You get airflow without compromising sun protection or letting bugs in. It doesn’t interfere with window operation, door locks, or visibility from the driver’s seat. You can still see out from the inside clearly enough, and at night, it doesn’t totally block your rearview, which I appreciate. The balance between sun protection, ventilation, and visibility is spot-on.

Does the job! Crates blind spots at certain angles or wet...
Overall, these are really good and their benefits outweigh the cons. I bought these to replace a partial window blind (the suction cup touting type) and they obviously cover much more window than those. In the dry, they are really good and cut out a fair amount of light. Not all light, but enough to protect the baby's eyes. In the wet/moist mornings they stick to the window and look a bit fleshy.. By that, I mean they ruffle up and clump a bit like skin might when you squish it. If you drop your windows to clear them on moist or fogged up mornings, the material clings to the window and can trip the safety trap feature of the windows. One really bad thing I found is my drivers side rear window is almost impossible to see out of now as the dual layer of mesh (inside and outside) and creates a privacy filter like effect, but that's not good when you're looking in your blind spot reversing out of Tesco car park or changing lanes on the M1! I also find the car to feel more like a van in that respect, as I would rely far more on the mirrors than just glancing over my shoulders. Other than that, really nice! I drive a Mk4 Ford Mondeo and these fit the back windows perfectly. I did not use the adhesive strips to tack it down to the inside of the door, I just let the material clip over the trim of the door and it's been great. Update, June 2021: I've attached a photo of what it's like if you leave these on in the rain. The material gets soppy and sticks to the windows, making the window impossible to see through. (This was trying to reverse out of a parking bay in a supermarket after the heavens opened.)

Very durable, good value
With no tinted windows and a five hour journey in summer I took a gamble on these and very glad I did, I don't know why I haven't used them sooner. A minor inconvenience that you have to get out of the car and have the door open enough to fasten them on but it doesn't take long at all as it is very easy and they fit well, shaped with one corner so you know what way it goes on. They are better than expected, I use them on a 2014 Honda CRV and they fit well, could easily be used on something bigger or smaller. They fit snugly enough to not be flapping around and the kids love that they can still open the window! Material is lightweight and dries out quickly if they get wet. Most importantly they keep the sun out very well therefore reducing any glare on kindles in the back seats! My only gripe is the velcro that sticks to the door unstuck after only a few uses but this could have been a few factors, 1) my hastiness to fit them I didn't clean the surface 2) my wife removing them faster than a waxing strip, or 3) it was probably the hottest day of the year and the temperature of the car door had softened the glue allowing it to unstick. Regardless, for the price I would still recommend them and would have no problem buying again

Need more than one to keep the sun out!
I bought these to keep the sun off my dogs in the rear seat of my car. I have tinted windows, but they don't keep out the sun fully. I tried one, and it wasn't effective, but two together was much better. They fit my Ford Kuga 2019 very well, and I'm pleased but feel they could be a little thicker so you only need to use one.

I bought the stretchable shade without suction cups. - I am NOT using the Velcro either, I just put those on (like sox). I just make sure that the Velcro are inside the door, else the flaps keep making noise against the door while driving - I generally remove those when there is a prediction of rains, so can't comment on if they get stuck to the window glass Things I liked ---------------- - Easy to use. Just like putting sox - Good protection from sunrays - As this gets installed around the door panel, the windows can be rolled up/down. I damaged a couple of the suction cup types earlier by rolling down the window glass while the screen was on - Because there is no "frame", it's easy to fold and keep it anywhere in the car One drawback ----------------- - Blind spot clearing can be a challenge, especially on the driver side, which is very close to the shoulder. Passenger side didn't feel that bad
