As a Special Education Teacher, I have a collection of sensory and motivational implements that I have collected over the years. This is an appealing visual sensory item that my students cherish and request. It's important to instruct the user how to handle the hour glasses to ensure safety and long term use. As the Grandmother with the coolest toys on the block, these are major treasure for my grand babies. My precious Sweet Peas range in age from 10 years to 3months and there are six of them. About a year ago, I purchased a beautiful canvas tepee and outfitted it with soft firefly lights, suede pillow, fake fur rugs and soft blankets. My older Sweet Peas will retreat to their tepee and take their basket of sensory items and favorite books into the tepee for a "time in" when they are overwhelmed with siblings. My younger Sweet Peas will line up all of their hour glasses and sit on the floor to watch them drain, turn them over and repeat the process. Overall, this is an excellent addition to a sensory box, not durable enough to be struck against anything or if it is accidentally dropped on a stone tile floor. I've used these in the classroom and have bought eight new ones for the home. My Sweet Peas usually ask to take a couple of them home and bring them back to change them out for a new on.

Cheep toy, but good for the price. I doubt it’s durability. I bought these for the children in a special needs class. They loved this toy. It is peaceful and mesmerizing, like watching a sand timer, but it’s much cuter.

My first grade students love these sensory tools! They arrived in wonderful condition and have held up to daily use by a group of students. We all loved the fun colors and different items on the inside - looking forward to the opportunity to purchase different varieties in the future!

I originally bought this for my boys cus their autistic. At first I thought their really cute. And my kids would love them cus it has little creatures in them. After not even an hour. My son had set it on top of his drawer just to watch the liquids fall and the little creatures move around. But he accidentally knocked it down hitting the drawer that it broke in half. My son was in tears cus it broke. Idk what type of chemicals were used in this but when it broke it had a strong odor that it was hard to wash off as much as I washed my hands with soap. It was so strong that my kids bathroom still smells horrible. I would not recommend this for anyone with kids even if it’s just to play with. Even though it may seem cute and keeps kids entertained. It is not worth money spent.

This set is very cute. I like that it's plastic which makes it more durable. My 1 and 5 year olds love watching them! The little animals inside are so cute and the colors are vibrant.
