Great way to support summer learning!
I absolutely love the Summer Bridge Activities: Bridging Grades 3–4! This workbook is a fantastic way to keep kids engaged and learning over the summer break. The activities are well-designed, fun, and educational, providing the perfect balance between reinforcing what they’ve already learned and getting them excited for the next school year. The layout is visually appealing, with colorful pages and interactive exercises that make learning feel like play. What I appreciate most is how it covers key subjects like math, reading, writing, and critical thinking skills in bite-sized chunks that kids can easily manage. My child enjoyed doing a little bit each day, and I noticed significant improvement in their confidence as they completed each activity. It's great that this workbook also includes helpful tips for parents to guide their kids through the exercises. Overall, this is a must-have resource for parents looking to keep their children sharp and engaged during the summer while still having fun. Highly recommend!

Excellent Summer Workbooks - Keeps Kids Engaged and Ready
These workbooks have been an absolute lifesaver for keeping my kids on track over the summer! I was looking for a resource that would help them retain what they learned and prepare for the next school year without feeling like a chore, and these deliver perfectly. What I particularly love is how well **organized they are by days**. This structure eliminates any guesswork and makes it incredibly easy to assign manageable chunks of work each day, which helps to **keep my kids consistently on track**. There's no overwhelm, just steady progress. The content is engaging, and it genuinely seems to reinforce key concepts in a fun way. We've had **absolutely no complaints** from the kids, which is a huge win for any summer learning material! I highly recommend these workbooks for any parent looking for a structured and effective way to bridge the academic gap during the summer break.

Great summer workbook
This book is a great tool to use over summer break to prevent loss of learning. I have been using this book with my 2nd grader for a few weeks and he enjoys the short lessons. I would prefer the lessons have a few more questions to cover each lesson.

Terrific, simple-to-use resource for parents and teachers.
The Summer Bridge Activities book is a great book for skill retention. The matrix at the beginning lists skills by page, making it easy to find exactly what a student needs. Each worksheet covers multiple skills (see pic), saving me from searching for separate resources. The pages are also perforated, making them easy to tear out. Though designed for daily 15-minute summer practice, I use it to challenge my excelling. I know my third graders students will ask for summer work, and this will be perfect for that too. It also includes IXL integration with QR codes and skill IDs, plus flashcards, stickers, and progress charts. A great tool for parents wanting to keep their child’s skills sharp!

Many concepts have not been covered in Grade 3, and the book gives very little explanation/modelling, so this requires a lot of extra time to pre-teach concepts (like PEDMAS, which I was not aware they taught in primary). As a few others mentioned, it’s covering a lot of grade 4, a little prematurely.
