I use this outside to sift small pebbles from my dirt which is very poor, mostly clay and full of rocks and sand. The first two I bought held up for several years but I left them outside all winter and the weather ruined them. They are wonderful for the work I need them for.

I really.like this although it's alot bigger than I thought but it's actually perfect.

I was looking for something that fit into a 5 gallon bucket and this works great.

Much bigger than I expected. I read the measurements and other reviews, but the physical size is a bit bigger than I needed. The ‘mesh’ isn’t as fine as I thought it would be. If you’re staining diced foods or something like angel hair pasta, you will lose a few. Loved the BPA free nature, so I’d buy again, but a smaller size. This guy is a work horse for washing/ prepping larger items. Quality is good so far. Holds up to dishwasher cleaning. No problems so far.

Size is great for storing fresh blueberries in our fridge.

First order was defective with many of the holes unpunched so about a half of a cup of water puddles and sits inside the strainer on the bottom. Ordered second one and it had same defects. Avoid this

Finally found the perfect colander to replace my old one. Handles fit perfectly over small side of sink to drain. Love that it's BPA free and that it comes in a color besides white.

Holes in bottom of basket are not punched through.
