Panasonic KX-TCA93 Clip-on Headset

Comfort and sound quality were excellent. Mute button and volume dial on the cord were very convenient and always worked. I never heard buzzing in the background, and if volume was ever an issue, all I had to do was turn up volume on the cordless phone it was plugged into. I used this very heavily, often for hours per day, on virtually every business day for 3+ years. Just today, it broke. But to get 3+ years of service out of something like this, I'm very impressed. Easily worth the price. UPDATE: The second one that I purchased lasted close to 2 years. I'm now on number 3. UPDATE 2: I've not been using these for about nine years. They seem to last about 18 months to 3 years before they stop working. I've now gone through perhaps 5 of these and each one works absolutely perfectly until it doesn't, and when it stops working it's pretty obvious. During the prior years, I've tried some other brands that cost much more. I figured I use it so often I might as well invest in something better. But nothing was better. Other items were too bulky, too heavy, or just too complicated. After much sampling, I keep returning to this very simply, perfectly functional little device, and I don't mind paying the relatively cheap price every few years to get a new one.

It does work,but volume isn't too good. I have had some in the past that did better. For the cost it wasn't bad. Also putting it on is hard to get fitted snug to ear.

Have been using this headset style for over 9 years now (maybe more). First headset lasted 2+ years. Since then they only last anywhere from 6 months to 1 year. It seems to me that the little wires just aren't as robust as they use to. That being said the quality of sound and comfort is still the best for me and my listeners (after I remove the little foam thing wrapped around the ear piece, which is uncomfortable if left on). I also like the fact that you can block the listener from hearing converstaions, sounds etc on your end when needed. Overall I'm being forced to adjust to a continually degrading world when it comes to quality. I miss the good old days when it comes to better built products, and I'm not even that old!

Does not stay on well and people said they couldn't hear me.

You just can't go wrong with this for under $15. I've used headsets for more years than I care to say. Most of them purchased for business application so they are middle to high end products. I use this one at home and it has worked great. Everyone says they can hear me great and I have no problems hearing them. One caution is that you have to hold down the mute button, it isn't an on / off switch. I'd buy it again and have no problem recommending.

It's very hard to find an inexpensive headset for a portable home phone that is comfortable & works. This on works on either ear. I'm a lefty & had no trouble adjusting so worked on my left ear, but found it very uncomfortable to wear. The fit is awkward. (If it helps anyone, I'm female, 5' 2" - have a small head - even a size Small motorcycle helmet is big on me & have long straight thin hair.) I got for use on portable phone, not cell. People I called said they had a hard time hearing me & heard static. It had good reviews but I found it to be junk and a total waste of money. I was very disappointed. I also bought the GE T126593, which by comparison, was fantastic, loud, clear & comfortable.

This is my second one of these headsets. I had the first one for several years before it stopped working. The headset is lightweight and the audio quality is good. The fit on your ear is a little strange at first, but after it breaks in a bit it becomes more comfortable. he volume control/mute button comes in handy. I think it is a good value for the price. It allows me to be hands-free without cradling the phone between my ear and shoulder. My neck is thankful I got this headset!

This is the second one I purchased so I can have one at both of my work stations. I like it much better than an over the head version. I bend the ear holder a bit so it is not too tight. It is easy/fast to put on when a call comes in. Clear audio both directions.I use this for both my cordless phone and, with a plug adapter, for my smartphone (when I'm not using my Bluetooth headset for the latter).
