For your safety and a child safety if you have a child, this is a great product. It allows you to keep your item close by while at the same time not accessible to everybody. The different mounting options allow you to put it virtually anywhere. You can add up so many fingerprints and codes And it slides out really fast once you unlock it. It’s very sturdy and fits a lot of sized items in there for sure.

Great quick access safe. I particularly like the way it quickly opens by gravity rather than a spring or manually opened slife. 2 issues: 1. The cutout for the pistol was very slapdash and unprofessional looking. But just a cosmetic issue for an area that will really never be seen. Functions perfectly. 2. Unlike some competitors, there is no way to fit an extra magazine in this thing. Unless it is a very small .22 pistol, there just is no room.

I bought this RPNB biometric safe looking for something practical yet truly secure, and it honestly exceeded my expectations. Installation is simple, especially with the mounting system that allows you to fix it discreetly on a wall or under a surface. The fingerprint reader responds quickly, almost instantly, which is key in situations where you need immediate access. I also like that it includes a keypad and key backup—that adds peace of mind in case the battery dies or the sensor fails. The interior LED light is a small but very useful detail in the dark. It feels solid, well built, and the auto-open mechanism works smoothly. It’s not a “professional anti - theft” safe, but for home security and controlled access (especially with kids around), it does the job perfectly. In summary, practica, secure, and fast access. Exactly what I needed.

The safe is excellent except for one absolutely fatal flaw: It doesn't give a "low battery" warning. This could get someone killed. Tonight, I attempted to open the safe and it wouldn't open. The code wouldn't open it and my fingerprints wouldn't open it. The unit beeped and the lights blinked on the keypad, but the safe would not open. I had to go grab the key which was in the other room in order to get into the safe. This, of course, completely defeats the purpose of a "quick access", bedside safe. I later replaced the batteries and everything is now working perfectly. How can I rely on this safe if it doesn't give any kind of "low battery" warning? Am I expected to test the unit daily until it doesn't open? And then I know to change the battery?

Works great! I keep my glock 43x mos mounted to the bed frame in this box. The fingerprint scanner technology had definitely gotten better. I have another RPNB box that the scanner doesn't work nearly as well. This opens very easily.

Seems to be priced right. Easy to set up and the triple ability to open it is nice - fingerprint, key, or code. I mounted it into a stud near the front door. The supplied screws are meant for wood mounting, so you’ll need longer screws to go through drywall and into a stud. I only used two of the four screws. Make sure you leave plenty of space for the door to swing down and you don’t hit a windowsill or something else. Nice blue light inside. Fits my HK 9 nicely.
