Just what I needed!
This tool saved me. I found huge gaps in my air return ductwork, but I could get a clean bend on the sheet metal I bought. I had never worked with sheet metal in my life or anything to do with HVAC repair, but it was simple with this tool. It seems to be well made. I don't see myself using this often, but if I ever needed to to in the future, I'll be glad I have it. It can put a 1-inch or 3/8-inch lip on the sheet metal. I don't know the proper name for it. I'm just a regular home owner, not an HVAC technician.

Worth paying a few dollars more than the harbor freight alternative. It is holding up well with properly sized slots.

Does what it's supposed to do
Durable enough not to break, but not enough to sub as a hammer.Works well to bend sheet metal. The slots start to slowly get wider after a year of bending metal.

Standing Seam 26 Gauge Metal No Problem
I bought this for a DIY standing seam metal roof on my house. I compared it to the $60+ option while I was shopping and was prepared to suck it up if this model didn't work. This thing works great for 26 gauge standing seam metal roofing. It makes a great fold and it is the perfect width for H-Loc by Central States Mfg. The photo is the finished product where I folded the metal with this tool and then finished it off with my 6 inch pliers. My wife actually made the initial bends as I was working on top of the roof. Both sides work great but I have mostly been using the 1 inch fold so far.
