Original Wayfarer RB2140

These are truly wonderful sunglasses — classic, stylish, and built with excellent craftsmanship. The construction feels solid and premium, just what you’d expect from Ray-Ban. The lenses provide crisp, clear vision with great sun protection, and the frame has that iconic look that never goes out of style. One small thing to note is that because of the lens angle and snug fit, you may notice temporary line indentations on your cheeks after wearing them for a while. It’s nothing major and just part of the classic Wayfarer design. The glossy finish on the frames also tends to pick up smudges and fingerprints pretty easily, but that’s expected with this type of material — a quick wipe and they’re good as new. Overall, these sunglasses are top-notch in quality, comfort, and appearance. They’re worth every penny and a timeless addition to any collection.

Fits great, looks great, comfortable over many hours, sturdy and high-quality glass. Although there are a few wayfarer models to choose from, I chose the classic, and I'm happy I did. This classic never gets old.

Tried the RB2132 (new) 52 & RB2140 (original) 50 because there were both the smaller versions of the new and original wayfarers. First off, still giving these glasses 4 stars because they look and feel great. The original wayfarers look and feel a bit more heavy duty than the new version so I preferred the 50's. I have a narrow, kind of long face so I have an extremely difficult time with sunglasses. Have not found a single pair that are narrow/small enough for me. The 52's look OK, a little too small for me heigh-wise since I have large eyes, so I passed on those. I love the 50's...the look, the feel...almost everything is pefect except they are too wide ): I was going to keep the 50's anyway since my BF said they looked cool; however, I showed them to my mom and she told they were just too wide for my face. Ended up returning both, but still highly recommend these if you're looking for a cool pair of sunnies and are lucky enough to have them fit your face properly. I also love that the tortoise color is really dark, almost black. The lenses are also really dark....if only they fit me properly. Still on the hunt for a pair of sunglasses that fit me just right.

They are Ray-bans and are what you hope to see for them and the quality and craftsmanship of the brand and price point. These particular glasses however were not a home run for me. I own over ten pairs of Ray-bans of different styles and had one like this previously that were lost or stolen and these are not quite like the last pair. The biggest problem I have is the tortoise pattern, it's very minimal. In bright sunlight it is much more noticeable but even then not as much as I would like to have had, a problem with not seeing in person first. The pattern is not much like the photos provided as you can see in my photos of what I received. The second big complaint I have is they are tight. This might lessen with use and wear but I brought them on our current road trip and I couldn't wear them more than two hours driving as they are digging in behind my ears. They are leaving deep impressions on my nose but thats not much bother, the pressure at the ears however was giving me a headache. I have a pair of club-masters and those I can wear all day with no problems so I figured it worth noting about these. It came with a nice case as they all do and a lens cloth. The lens is clear and provides good protection, just the cosmetic complaint and pressure during wear. I'll keep these for the right outfit and hope they loosen up and fit better over time but really would have loved that full classic tortoise pattern. Hope this helps

These are lovely. They are genuine as far as I can see. They have a really solid weight to them also. I bought the 54 size. I don't think they are as big as some reviews say. I don't have a large face/ head, just an average oval shape female face and they look fine, they fit well I think, but we're all different so you decide. I'd say definitely unisex. I am well pleased with them. Great delivery service and great price too. Many thanks
