Fantastic product
Fantastic product. Pillar on Jeep peeled off. Replaced with this vinyl and looks brand new. First time doing. Ended up doing all 6 locations in about 2 hours. Heat gun is the key. No rips or tears. Just take your time to clean before. When trimming to car, cut slow.

installed on wheels and front and rear of car and working great
I'm amazed at the durability of this stuff on the outside of a car. 1 year and still looks great and was easy to cut and apply.

Good stuff - got the job done
I used this stuff to wrap the front of a portable AC unit. All of the furniture in my basement is black or with a wood grain pattern so the white AC was really out of place, it was practically glowing. I should preface this review by mentioning that I have never wrapped anything before. A while back I considered wrapping my laptop but with the way I'm so particular about very small details I always felt like the wrapping process would drive me crazy and I would never be happy with the end result. This AC project didn't require nearly as much precision as wrapping a laptop so I was willing to give it a try. The end result was pretty good. I ended up with a few creases toward the bottom around the left hand edge but it's virtually impossible to see that. I was mainly concerned with getting the front of the unit a smooth matte black. Mission accomplished. This wrap was fairly easy to work with. I was able to pull it off and re-apply it over and over as I worked my way down from top to bottom. I didn't have a squeegee or whatever other tools you're supposed to use, instead applying it by hand all the way down. I didn't use any heat at all either. On the bottom I had about a half inch of fold under so I used some electrical tape to secure the bottom edge. I'm not sure how well it will hold up but since it will be inside I think it ought to be fine. If it starts peeling off I'll have plenty more to try it all again. Final notes: - Dimensions: I dunno what dimension is supposed to be 2 feet, but this roll was absolutely not 2 feet in either dimension. I haven't completely unfurled it but I'm assuming that's the 5 foot dimension. The roll I received is 3 feet tall. So I'm pretty sure I received a 3'x5' product. This worked out ok but I was counting on the 2' roll as I would have only had to cut out my piece in one direction rather than trim it in two directions. - Packing: the outer packaging was a sturdy cardboard box with some paper which offered ample protection during shipping. However, there were two very annoying pieces of tape used to keep it from unfurling in its packaging. This tape left a slight oily sheen on the matte surface which I didn't realize until after I had cut the piece to size and applied it. I was able to "buff out" the oily sheen with a dry rag.

Decent quality for half the price of name brand vinyls
This wrap is one of the cheapest out there. Got enough for my jeep for less than $300. 3M 2080 would be double the price. Not the best for beginners because it’s thick, brittle, and pretty stiff material that requires a good amount of heat to work with. The adhesive isn’t the best, did a full post heat and post heated all the corners to seal, but some edges lifted after a couple of weeks. After the 2nd time post heating the edges that do stay but you practically have to melt the material to be sure it doesn’t move. All in all it’s the best price for decent quality just make sure you know what you’re doing. Finish does look great in the end but we’ll see how long it holds up compared to 3M 2080 and Avery sw900

No regrets! This stuff is great!
Did a beautiful job of transforming the ugly metal surfaces in my kit to a professional appearance. Easy enough to use for my beginner self.

Easy wrap to install and looks good
The wrap is super easy to install because it doesn’t set until you apply heat. I bought a cheap heat gun and easily set it in place. Because it doesn’t set until you apply heat. It was easy to reposition so that it fit perfectly. It was much easier to use than other wraps. It made installing the wrap stress-free.

Good product when it works, poor customer service.
My installer has wrapped quite a few cars, using brands such as 3M, Oracal, Avery, and yes, even VViViD. In fact, the results turned out good enough on my first wrap, that I bought another roll of VViViD. The roll I got was defective. I emailed the pictures of the problem with the vinyl to their customer support, to which they responded that it was forwarded to their warranty department. I sent a video of the installer trying to replicate the problem wrapping a door (using his hands on not a squeegee in this instance because we anticipated having to redo the door anyway), and they immediately blamed him using his hand rather than a squeegee on this door. Well, seems like a good enough explanation, except the door where he used his hand was the best panel on the car... and the other panels that wouldn't air release, incidentally, were all put down using a 3M Blue Squeegees Flexible Plastic Applicator purchased from VViViD's own Amazon store. I forwarded that information to Michael, along with the proof of purchase of the squeegees and the adhesive primer they sell, and talked to him on the phone. He told me that they always add new information to warranty claims. After all that, they forwarded it to "senior management" and concluded that it was an installation issue, not an issue with the vinyl. After showing them a few dozen pictures of the vinyl not air releasing, they told me too bad. Now, I stayed committed to VViViD because they were an underdog vs the bigger brands, and it cost me. I paid 500+shipping for the roll of XPO matte white. You can purchase 3M 1080 (from a company that will stand behind their product and not blame everyone) for less than a few hundred dollars more. (Metro Restyling has 3M 1080 matte white for 631 for 75ft). Honestly, I am going to avoid purchasing from these guys again. Sure, it looks great when it works, but if there's a problem, they're going to blame you/your installer. Sections of this roll were admittedly very good, but some parts weren't, and it wound up in a lot of wasted vinyl.
