Works as well as the brand named nighttime cold relief. Great value for the money, pleasant taste. Great congestion and cough relief.

Yes- it works...yes it is comparable ( slightly weaker but still effective at decongestant and fever relief) to name brand but gods I'm glad i can't smell right now because I'm so congested still. I will say that the taste is foul- there's a lingering...something that stays in the back of your throat after you swallow this. Is it cheap? Yes. Will it put you to sleep? Absolutely. Is it like swallowing deceptively cruel 'berry sludge'? Also yes. I guess this is being poor and sick. Can confirm I got a solid 9 hours of sleep and my throat hurts less for the whole 3-4 hours between doses.

Just as effective as the name brand.

I only purchase this Amazon brand because the other competition cold and flu nighttime medicines make one so groggy in the morning and do not provide as much relief as the Amazon brand.

Cheaper than brand name and works great.

This medicine works as good as the brand name, but I did not like the taste. I ordered the honey flavor by mistake. I know it is to mask the yuckiness of the medicine, but I really do not like honey, so it tasted so bad to me.
