I have been using dish tv for more than 2 years and in these time period, I would like to high light advantage & disadvantage of your product. Advantage 1. Recharge is least as compared to rivals. 2.1st Installation is satisfactory. 3.Complete product information. Disadvantages 1. Durability is poor. 2. Service charges are 5x of total monthly subscription. 3.Poor co-ordination between service person & Customer 4. Charges are levied on every minor fault. 5.Hardware which is durable only up to 1-year warranty. After warranty is expired there is a frequent loss of hardware which service person ask to replace on every visit. 6. Loss of signal is much frequent which reflects the quality of satellite network access to the customer. Also, less network coverage is present.(I have even replaced location to get better network coverage and also I had replaces the lens on antenna). 7. Set up box & Card often gets damaged and it needs to be replaced down the line. (In my case I have to replace within 18 months). 8.No reply on calls & mail. According to my perspective total cost for me to install dishtv is as follows, 2 year recharge = Rs.7000/- approx A total number of service opted = 16 times. Total service charges paid which include hardware replacement = 1st year Rs.3000/- & 2nd year till date Rs.10,000/- Grand total = 7000 + 3000 + 10,000 = 20,000/- in two years. Now the basis of these you can decide. Thank you

I do not have any complaint with the product, but, I am unhappy with the installation process. Although the installation done on the 2nd day of purchase, the dish antenna was not installed properly, resulting in HD channels were not coming during the Free subscription period, although I have purchased Dish TV HD. I understand after one month that this is due to wrong installation of the Dealer, who has installed HD receiver. This has deprived me of viewing HD channels during the free subscription period. Hence, please ensure that the dealer install the correct product in future. Other than this, I have no complaints and Amazon is very quick in responding to my requests after installation of this product.
