Buying parts after 2 months review parts cost first!
It was easy to assemble, Crappy durability, extremely crappy quality. Not worth the money. Barely any power. Now let me explain. I trench lines for a living, so at first this was a win. Then like everything new, you need to adjust to the reality. The strap is useless if you're 6ft because the angle it trenches at is a set angle so you have a slight hunch the whole time you trench (hurt back after use). I bought a handle that kinda fixed that for the most part.. Okay whatever. Next I realized the store has a stupid cost for replacement parts (look into the parts cost before buying, it's important.) I had to replace parts within 1 month of constant use. Then discovered the gearbox went out completely (see images of the type of soil it went out in) sandish soil. The gear box has plastic parts inside it, then if it gets hot for longer use it melts the inside and then $700 for a new gearbox. Then they said I need to use it in loose dirt🤣! What is a trencher in loose dirt? Then said if I want better trenching performance to buy their $180 badger blade (that should be the standard if it makes your product useful!) I spent $1600 on it then I sent it back and they said I used it in the wrong soil, so no warranty. They repaired it for another $400. So, $2,000 in 2 months was not profitable. After that you'll be buying parts monthly. If there are good reviews, then they don't trench for a living.

Makes short work of tree roots
It took me a couple of attempts to get the blades dialed in with respect to torque but once I figured that out this beast breezed through tree roots and rocky soil. I use this for any job in which I might have gotten my shovel, pick axe or hoe out for before. very powerful engine and it starts easily on first pull every time.

Horrible
It is a horrible machine, a back breaker and it makes a mess, dirt flying everywhere. Forget about using it on clay ground. Don’t waste your money!

Great trencher!
My husband loves this machine! He does residential sprinkler work and he said it makes his job easier, plus, he does not need to hire a digger.

Great hand held trencher.
Works great for 6-8in depth ditches. Very fast at digging. Cuts through root and other things very quickly so look out.
