Rear Bumper Lip Diffuser

Really nice rear defuser for my 2014 Nissan maxima. Came in before expected date so that’s really good, came in really well packaged as well with a 3M tape and some screws. I did a little bit of work to it so it could match my car color. just added some BLACK PLASTI DIP and then after the plasti dip I added a 2K CLEAR GLAMOUR GLOSS FINISH and there you go nice looking gloss black finish OEM style :)

This item has no install instructions. You get screws and some 3m double sided tape. You will have to drill holes. When I placed the tape I did it a little inside the outer edge. Tap the screws in measured and equal areas across the bumper to pull it into a tight fit. It would be better if they included a couple more screws. If you put the double sided tape on the edge when mounting it squeezes out and kind of looks tacky . I know it is cosmetic, but it is thick and actually probably makes a good skid guard while backing up. My bumper had a couple scars so I had no problem doing some drilling.

I like the look of this diffuser but like other people have said it really doesn't fit right. There are pretty large gaps where the curvature doesn't meet up with the car, and after tons of messing around with it I decided to just use extra screws which I really wasn't excited about. I could hide the screws under the lip of the diffuser but you can still see them if you look closely. I think if you used a heat gun to help make the part more flexible it would help, but there is no way the thin 3m tape they provide would hold on its own.

Pros : The looks of the diffuser is good not great Cons: No instructions , they only give you 4 small screws and some 3M tape like that’s supposed to hold it in place. You will need to upgrade hardware. The diffuser will need to be heated with a heat gun to get it to bend to your vehicle.

Looked cheap and was bent

Its cool. Definitely just for looks obviously. I knew this when I bought it. Wish it came with instructions to install because I have no clue how to install this. No drill holes or anything. It bends a little when your trying to put it on. So I'm going to need someone else to hold it up while I drill. But honestly you get your moneys worth on this. You want a nice little piece on your car but don't want to spend $200 plus on an air diffuser? Or thier isn't an air diffuser for your car? Get this! Thank you
