Spider-Man 2099 1 Paperback – June 30, 2013

I love me some Spider-Man 2099, I first read these when they came out and can’t find my original copies I bought with the foil covers. This series was probably my favorite when I was a kid.

Brother loved it as part of his graduation present! Says it’s his favorite comic book!

I've loved spiderman ever since I was a kid. Growing up in the 90s, I loved the look of spiderman 2099 but my parents always just got me toys and video games, since we didnt live anywhere near any comic shops back then. It wasn't until I was in my 20s that I started collecting trades of my fave heroes like spiderman and deadpoolI always wanted to read the 2099 comics as a kid, and I can say for a fact that if you like regular Peter Parker/Spiderman, then Miguel O'Hara will make a very good substitute. He's no Peter, but he's still trying to make the best of his situation as a newfound hero. He doesn't exactly do a lot of crimefighting in this volume, the thing with any origin story is the hero is usually discovering their powers and trying their best to keep others from finding out about said powers. O'hara always seems to have a quip or retort ready at hand, which does sound peter-ish thoI'm not sure if the first 3 volumes from the 90s are canon with the current run from 2014 but if you like spiderman and alternate versions and 90s art, then this trade will look great on your shelf

This was an awesome comic book and I recommend it to those who like Miguel O'Hara/Spider-Man 2099 or Spider-Man of the Future. And after reading this comic book I decided that Miguel O'Hara is my favorite alternate version of Spider-Man who isn't Peter Parker.

Art, writing, and direction is similar to Parker but very shocking different at the the same time.

Bought this as a gift for my daughters boyfriend. He loved it beyhe had this same one as a young boy.

This stuff is wonderful for the imagination. I love the tie-ins and foreshadowing. The different character setup is cool too.

Its was such a great book. I was not sure if I wanted to get it but sooo worth it.

I haven't read this series since I was in Middle School. At the time, I was enthralled with it and Peter David was one of my favorite writers. Though I hadn't picked it up in decades, I always had a soft spot of Miguel O'Hare and his supporting cast. Now, having picked it up again, I'm happy to say it holds up really well. Hell, I'm actually somewhat taken by the social commentary, much of who h flew right over my twelve year old head back in the day. A great read!

awesome ! I revisited my childhood days of reading comics! It is good to be young again with this comics.
