Great Read to Learn About Emotions
This book is excellent for someone who wants to understand emotions and how to deal with them. I loved the cover of this book. The reader will get the full range of options for letting go of emotions. The book refers to workbook activities, which is excellent. However, the best method for dealing with emotions may need to be clarified. Avoiding emotions using activity is not a good method to recommend. Allowing the feeling certainly is. The content helps to get an intellectual understanding, increasing emotional awareness. That is good.

Does what it says on the tin, and for good value
I paid £0.99 for this book. At that price, it is great value. The author says in his conclusion, "My sincere hope is that it helped you make sense of your emotions and gave you the tools you need to start taking better control of them." He succeeded in his task. The content is clearly set out, with an emphasis on key concepts, and on taking action. There isn't a great deal in here I didn't "know", at least at some level, but it is useful to read. There is quite a bit of distillation of others' thoughts and ideas (rather than a huge amount of "original" content), but I think that's a strength of the book, and contributes to meeting the author's aims. I refer again to the price. I'm quite likely to read more of the author's other books.

Great help
My emotions are based on interpretation of events to fit my story or the story I identify with. This made a lot of sense to me. And it has made a lot of difference in my thinking, my emotions and interpretation of events. I am a better person today, than I was two weeks ago. Thank you.

Not impressed
Was full of hopes, but woukd not have bought for £11 in a shop. Loads of empty pages, others about the author and his other book. Too many quotes from other writers etc made me wonder what is his own work. Unless you read the index, I don't, a work book was mentioned, which happened to be part of this book. For me woukd have been better for these sections to follow each chapter. Overall very dissapointing, could be reduced to a third of its size and saved paper.

An excellent read and very useful to control our emotions
I read it twice to get a better understanding of the concepts. Easy to read. The author is very competent and the book is well researched. Well done. I used the Kindle version.

ignore the negative reviews.
If you're looking for help in trying to understand more about yourself and this is your first step then this book is a good starting point, some of the negative comments are unwarranted, to say it's been cut and pasted, and it's all been done before is like saying you'll never read another crime story or love story because the premise is the same, In a roundabout way The point is, depending on where you are with your mental health, getting any kind of information is going to be helpful, this book might be the book that leads you to want to delve deeper in understanding how you tick, there are references to other books in here and that is always useful Read it and make your own mind up, one of the points in this book and in so many is that we are biased towards negativity, if you take heed to the negative comments then you're letting someone to place barriers in your way when you're trying to take barriers down Make your own mind up

Great read, definitely worth it
This is a great book if you are someone who wants to learn how to handle their emotions in all aspects of life and overcome negativity. The key thing is to also work through the activities and incorporate it in your everyday life in order to see the change. If you only just read ghe book and leave it then you will not see the results you want to see. I will definately be re-reading and using this book as a reference for when I go through difficult times in my life. Thank you Thibaut for giving me control of my life again.
