works as it should

Great beginner pickle pot...heats up in a decent amount of time...not super fast, but not slow either. But once it gets up to temp, she roars. If I had to buy another, I would go for a cheaper crockpot...same thing just marketed differently.

I love this pot because the lid doesn’t rust and get too hot. It’s the perfect size for my small area. This doesn’t have multiple heat levels other than low or high. When it gets too hot I shut it off and let it simmer.

but a little bit small

I have gone through three crock pots for pickling. They have either cracked or the bottom corroded. I have had no problems with this pot and I like that the top is plastic. My pickle has stayed clear for 4 days straight. I use salt and vinegar. Kinda pricey and it needs an on off switch, but don't let that stop you from purchasing the best pickle pot ever!

Works great looks great does the job

I didn't open this right away, and what I shame I didn't because now I can't get a refund. The ceramic dish inside is shattered. Not a happy camper.
