No, these aren't meant to be mouse pads. But they work for that and do it well. The art is stunning and, even though I've only used it for a few weeks, the pad appears to be pretty durable. It makes a fantastic mat for the side of my L-shaped computer desk; I use it for my mouse, a soft place to throw my glasses, even my coffee cup. Highly satisfied.

It is nice and large, able to handle Pathfinder or MTG. Good color print and non-slide base. It's basically a large, thin mouse pad with nice art.

I get compliments on the the mat when I go to FNM. Love the design I hope the artist keeps up with the drawing.

My son loves his Magic Dark Lord play mat and uses it daily under his mobile laptop computer setup if he isn't using it for a magic game. My best friend bought the same one for her man and he uses it basically the same way; he loves it.
