But it
This blade rocks. It made 459 cuts through 2.5” oak, first cut as clean as the last cut. Next day cut 3x3x3/16” carbon steel angle beautifully. Took my time and let durable blade do the work

Works well for acrylic
To cut acrylic, the normal recommendation is to use a high-toothed blade. But when we had to do some serious cutting of acrylic for my triangular windows, my handyman did some testing, and the Evolution blade actually produced the cleanest cuts of all three blades we tried, including a high-toothed one. It maybe interesting to mention that we did not expect this. I found the Evolution blade first on the web page of a local big-box store when I was looking for an affordable blade to cut *harder metals*, and got it from that store. But since we will have to do quite a few four-feet-plus acrylic-mirror cuts, and we used the old blade quite a lot to cut metals (mostly aluminum alloys), I thought it might be a good idea to get a new blade. So I looked around for it and found it on Amazon. It would be nice if there was a twelve inch version. The ten inch is good for my handyman's table saw, but my miter saw would prefer a twelve inch.

Good for wood (at the very least)
Picked up to use for cutting 2x2 lumber for a recent project. Worked very well for those cuts. I'll have to see how it holds up against metals and maybe some plastics (no plastic cutting planned so far). I have some aluminum I need to cut soon, so I'll leave this blade installed. I still have the steel cutting blade(s) on hand to swap over to as needed. LOVE using this saw to cut everything. So much better than using the abrasive disk type of saw. A welder friend also picked up one of these after I told him about mine. No more metal (and disk) dust floating around either of us now. MUCH better for our health!

Clean and accurate!
For anyone who has cut steel tube or strap, the Evolution system is a must! I switched from abrasive chop saw discs and never looked back. This particular blade is a great all purpose tool!

Blades cut steel
Amazing to see this saw just cut though steel. Its amazing but you may want to save the old blades as you use them and organize for the quality cuts. There burn out fast and if you need to cut rebar you may want to use an old blade and save the new blades for the cleaner cuts.

Great Blade
Evolution no longer sells the blade I use for years. However, this does the same thing as the old one except for the shaving are a little different. Still cuts metal like before. When buying this type of blade, READ what types of materials it is made to cut. This one is for mild steel, wood, plastic. Aluminum / Stainless Steel requires different blade. Using the wrong blade will damage it. I have seen a lot of negatives or complaints about these blades. #1...Use minimal force at the beginning of the cut. #2...Do not cut, by constant lifting and cutting within the same cut. #1 & #2 can known off the carbide tips. #3...Do not over force the blade while cutting, if you are, the blade is dull / worn out. Bright sparks is a tattle tail sign. Another sign of a worn blade, cut is rough, drifts or angle cut. If you treat the blade right, you will get a lot of cuts from it.
