So I bought 2 of these hoping for the best bc a lot of reviews said they came damaged and some reviews said they were perfect lol. Well… the first one I opened and set up for my bf came damaged. It had two bent crinkle marks on the clear sheet on top. I decided we can just live with it cause UPS is just out of the way for us. I then opened the second one up and put it in my part of the desk and it is indeed perfect. Nothing wrong with the clear part. So 1 good 1 bad. 50/50 haha. What a shame.***UPDATE: same night. Boyfriend finally saw it and loves it. He says it was a good buy and I don’t think he even noticed the blemish on his. Yay! Changing to 5 stars from 4 stars!***2nd update***The next morning from my last update, I noticed there were scratches on my clear cover. I tried to wipe them off thinking it was just dust or something but they are like scratches and it’s very noticeable and I have no idea how it happened. The product is nice for being able to put things under the clear flap but the quality leaves more to be desired.

This is exactly what I needed for my home office. I like to keep some notes handy and accessible but neatly displayed for quick reference. The transparent top is perfect for this need. The edges lay completely flat and it has a low profile. I can’t even tell it’s there. It wipes clean easily, and items do not shift around. The size allows for plenty of space to display multiple 8.5”x11” pages. Additionally, my mouse works great on it without needing a mousepad. Happy to have found it!

I'd been looking for a desk pad with clear overlay to display photos on my desk at work. I'd been seeing this one but hesitated because I was cheap and didn't know if it was what I really needed - well, finally bought it and its perfect! The pictures show very clear under the overlay, the size is great and it doesn't slide around on my desk. I only gave 4 stars for easy to clean and durability because I just got it but so far I love what I'm seeing and don't know why I waited so long!

This desk mat is similar to one I bought at Staples about 18 years ago. It has a clear plastic overlay that allows me to slide important memos, etc. underneath yet keep them in view The mat itself is made of recycled tires. I really like it!

I'm sure it will be okay and I should have noticed. But my older version of this product had the ruler etched along the bottom, which I think makes it a lot more accessible and useful.Also, unlike the illustration, my copy does not have the angle lines.
