This is a great tripod for the homeowner or a handyman who does occasional work. It's great for hanging shelves and pictures inside or in your garage, and depending on the laser you have, good for outside work. Any complaints you read here about construction or flimsy design are probably due to misuse or abuse; this tripod is solidly constructed, with excellent workmanship, from quality materials. My only complaint is that my tripod did not come with a camera/laser adapter to click into it, and it apparently takes a proprietary design to fit. You can't use just any universal camera adapter. Mine was either lost or stolen before shipment. And so far, I can't find anybody on Amazon that sells it. This item says it is shipped by Amazon, and supplied by "Other," which is DeWalt, so there is no local seller to contact. The DeWalt website is almost impenetrable, so I either have to send a message through their contact form, or call them, to find out about this replacement part. If I can't find it, it renders my tripod useless.

As someone who constantly works on home improvement projects, this laser level tripod is a must. It’s helped us through so many different projects and we constantly get asked to borrow it as well.

Bought this tripod to hold a Dewalt laser level. It is very adjustable and holds the laser well. It’s lightweight and has a carry bag. Easy to use and set up for leveling the laser.

For something marketed by DeWalt for mounting one of their laser levels it'd be best of it worked well. Large portions of this tripod are made of plastic and the adjustment screws at the top where the laser level mounts were inadequate and allowed the level to bob, bounce, and wobble around if you even looked at it funny. Also when I got this it was apparent that the tripod had busted out of the box multiple times and had been shoved back inside and was heavily taped up. I returned this tripod in hopes of finding one sturdier.

So I bought this tripod for my laser level. I was impressed. Its overall construction is good with multi point leveling legs. Tilt handle at the base and a level ball to let you know when the level is sitting level. Comes in a nice canvas dewalt bag. Good investment to increase the usefulness of your level.

Excelente accesorio para el nivel laser, me gusta porque tiene múltiples ajustes de altura (Hasta 1.80 m) y niveles burbuja para dejar al 100 el ajuste. Es ligero y ya incluye el estuche para guardarlo y transportarlo. El único pero es que la manivela para ajustar la altura se siente frágil y si no sueltas el tornillo que aprieta creo que se rompería fácilmente, de ahí en fuera todo muy bien. Ademas cuenta con un accesorio de quick release que te permite quitar y poner el nivel de forma rápida para guardarlo. Recomiendo este producto.
