These fit perfectly. I replaced my hose and the suction didn’t seem to be the best. I went ahead and changed the filters and it works great. I almost bought a new vacuum when I just needed to replace a few things.

I have an older Dyson DC07 Animal vacuum that has worked well for years. I’ve had to change the clutch and replaced different hoses to maintain it. Recently my vacuum wasn’t working well. After taking it apart and I not knowing the problem I guessed that I needed to change the filter. I didn’t realize the vacuum had 2 filters. After replacing the filters the vacuum sounded twice as loud and the suction was 10x better. The filter quality is great and so is the value. I wished I’d known to change the filter sooner.

WOW! What a surprise. We'd been using our DC7 Dyson vacuum for all these years without ANY problems whatsoever. It still has great suction and cleans our carpets and wood floors quite nicely. I was checking the brush belt recently and discovered that there is a pre-motor filter, the Yellow one. Upon checking it I found that it was not surprisingly nearly toast! When I ran water thru it to clean it, the dang thing fell apart. I still have the manual, a pet peeve of mine, and upon reading about the filter then discovered that there is ANOTHER filter - the Purple HEPA filter. Goodness.... For maintenance sake, I ordered this replacement set which fit perfectly. I had to slightly trim one of the Purple HEPA filter seals as they were about an inch too long on the diameter- no problem. I'd rather have something to trim down in size rather than try to make something smaller a bit larger. Our Dyson works great and we are totally happy with this purchase we made some 20 years ago. This is the 2nd house we've had our Dyson in. Lightweight, easy to use, you can see all the shmootz that it picks up right in the canister, and now that I know about the filters, I marked the calendar to check them again in 6-months. Ha Ha!

Like several other reviewers, I did not know about one of the filters in my red and purple Dyson “animal” vacuum. I knew about the one on the side but not the one under the collection canister. And no wonder, the cover was impossible to remove without using a blade under three places to pry up the latches. Now, thanks to those other reviewers my very old vacuum is like new. The filters fit perfectly. And the suction is restored. Now if I could just get the roller/brush out to clean it without it being such a pain to get it out and put it back in. Until Dyson can solve this problem, all their machines do well, is suck.
