Stale muffins
The material was stale. The muffins had a peculiar taste. This is the first time I found this brand not satisfactory.

Excellent flavour. Much better if use large eggs. Also takes 30/40, mins in my oven which is gas. Absolutely perfect. Moist. Keeps for 5 days covered in cling wrap. It is much better than the box from supermarkets. Definitely recommend mix for 2 mins even if you don't think it needs. Thickens. It is so light and spongy.
