Rubis Classic Tweezer, Elegance 1k111

I have exclusively used Rubis brand tweezers for many many years. After having the current pair professionally sharpened a few times, I decided to replace them. Unfortunately, my guess is the pair I received from Amazon had been returned by another customer. The working edges did not match up and would not grab an eyebrow hair. I did not even think to check before using, but I did notice the protective cap usually attached was not. Basically, I wrote this review to remind everyone to check that the tweezers you received are indeed new and functional before letting too much time pass.

Only brand wife uses. Refuses all other options. Happy wife is a happy life…

I wanted a pair of good tweezers for home use that would work for plucking eyebrows and the occasional splinter removal. These are expensive but grip beautifully. Basically a 20 year purchase. Well worth not going the cheap route.

These were way too expensive to already not be working well. Can’t even grab an eyebrow with them. Very disappointed to have spent nearly $50 on tweezers and they are garbage

I had a pair of Rubis tweezers for 10 years that worked perfectly until I drop them and nipped the tip. I cheaped out and bought a pair of tweezerman and, wow, not even close. Just splurge and get these, you'll use them forever.

This pair of tweezers are worth every penny I pay for them. If I have to replace them it's because I misplace them not because they're not working well.

Great tweezers .. very precise! They have perfectly aligned ends so it’s easy to tweeze eyebrows or get a splinter out. Love them

So I decided to spend more in hopes that this would replace the Tweezerman tweezers my family misplaced. The Rubis tweezers were not better, not even as good as the Tweezerman tweezers. I use them for eye brow shaping and want to be able to remove tiny hairs when they first appear, not have to wait until the hair is 1/4" long. These tweezers can't do that. I am disappointed.
