My personal favorite picks
Over the past couple years, I've attempted to go from 'beginner' to 'beginner with some intermediate skills.' Quest complete? Maybe... I can do flawless pinch harmonics but have memorized zero scales. My secret? Drop C tuning, and these EXACT picks. In my process to be slightly less garbage at guitar, I found that, for me, the pick matters greatly. I have tried many picks, so here's some things to get you started. These picks are: Slightly smaller than a regular Tortex, and more pointed. Slightly smaller and less pointed than a Tortex sharp. Slightly smaller than a Tortex TIII (with similar point, however, these aren't as steep of a point as the TIII. TIII's have the same point and size as Ultex Sharps. Have fun and... RIP B.Hinds

Great product.
Solid picks for sure. Just a bit small for my fingers. But not taking anything away from the quality. Dunlop makes great picks.

I HAD to find out
Well, I figured whats in a pick...I have 55 years on/off experience in stringed instruments. I've used all sorts of stuff for pics in a pinch . And if anyone tried to tell me that a Dunop tortex thats designed ever so slightly than the .50 Tortex I normally use a lot would make a BIG difference I'd say just go back to the old standby bread tabs we used to use in a pinch. LOL. Well, I stand humbled and have to say these DO make a big difference in control and articulation and attack and all around picking options. Give 'em a try its just a few bucks.

Perfect for Precision Playing – My New Go-To Picks!
I recently tried out the Jim Dunlop Tortex Flow Standard 1.35mm Guitar Picks, and I have to say, they’ve quickly become my favorite. The 1.35mm thickness offers the perfect balance of stiffness and flexibility, giving me the control I need for both fast strumming and precise picking. The material feels smooth but provides just enough grip, so I never have to worry about slipping, even during intense play. What really stood out to me is how comfortable these picks feel in my hand. The shape is great, and the rounded edge glides effortlessly across the strings, which makes for a smooth and consistent sound. Whether I’m playing intricate solos or more rhythmic strumming patterns, these picks handle it all with ease. I’ve used a lot of different picks in the past, but the Tortex Flow picks seem to last longer without getting worn down, which is a big plus. They’re durable and hold up even during long practice sessions. If you’re looking for a pick that provides great control, durability, and comfort, these are definitely worth a try. I’ve already ordered more to stock up!

Great
Love these picks. Nice and sharp and good attack for playing metal. Wish the tips didn’t dull out so quick but that’s the price you pay for preferring a thinner pick.

Perfect size, shape, and texture for sweaty hands
This picks are great. I’ve been using the standard r Tortex Dunlop picks for 15 years because they’re amazingly well made, they just hold up for a long time after a lot of use. I recently saw the Flow style and had to pick up a pack of them. I really like the minimized shape with a slightly pointed picking tip. It helps with faster picking and “attacking the strings” with a lighter touch. I have extremely sweaty hands and the matte texture of the picks helps them stick to my fingers a bit better without getting slippery. Any guitarist who suffers from sweaty hands knows how frustrating a slick pick is to handle. You really can’t go wrong with a pack of these. If you’re a new guitarist or aren’t too sure how picks will affect your performance I’d also suggest looking at incorporating and trying different thicknesses as well.

my go to perfect shape, attack is great
These are the absolute go to picks for me. The shape, the gauge. I play primarily live acoustic and these do not dull the sound or brighten it. They are a very neutral sounding pick. the material is great enough for me playing 3 hour shows to use one for at least 2 performances before it starts to show wear. The shape is great for hiding in your inside of your finger when switching to finger picking momentarily and the attack on the string is so precise. I really can't say enough about this pick. The only picks I buy anymore. So glad I found these.

These are my favourite picks. I previously played the standard .73 yellow tortex picks, by after trying other picks I wanted something a bit pointier. This is a perfect hybrid between the classic pick shape and the more precise Jazz III shape. I find arpeggios and lead guitar easier due to the slightly more compact shape and sharper point, but still find strumming chords comfortable. Would recommend! Great value for a 12 pack.
