Good coffee the old fashioned way.
After watching some videos on how people who lived in the 18th and 19th prepared their coffee, and also being somewhat of a coffee enthusiasts, I thought I would try my hand at roasting my own. My first batch didn't turn out so great, so I re-watched the videos and learned from my mistakes - so much better! It was a good flavor and a good roast. There is a certain level of satisfaction and freshness that comes from roasting your own coffee. I roast about a half cup at a time. If you have never roasted your own beans before, they do expand in size, there is a lot of chaff, and you want to roast until the second "crack". These are good quality beans to do just that. Enjoy your own coffee and stay away from those overpriced chains.

Good flavor, healthy, living seeds
They grew! They’re alive! They didn’t come sprouted, they came dry, in a vacuum sealed bag, but, when I soaked them to extract the caffeine, they sprouted. They’re obviously fresh, and they smell and taste it. There are a few broken, dirty ones. Like all natural foods (beans, peas, nuts, seeds, legumes) you need to sort and rinse. But, these are good coffee seeds. They have a nice, light herbaceous flavor. I chose cold brewing for my extraction, and it worked very well. I’ve been drinking it chilled each day. 20g green coffee seeds 300g cold water Place in container 12 or more hours in a cold spot (refrigerator for me) The longer it sits, the stronger it becomes. After 3-5 days, they sprout- and I only discovered that because I added 20g seeds and more water without dumping the first ones. Now, to find out if I can cook something with these, maybe coffee cake?

nothing like fresh roasted coffee
this organic green coffee is interesting. the flavor of brewed green coffee isnt good or even recognizable as coffee. tastes & smells more like the stalks of forest plants. the first roast I did was excellent. it had a mixture of light, medium & dark roast due to the nature of pan frying. made the house smell good, and the flavour was more broad spectrum and fresh than what you can get pre roasted. I burned & threw out the next batch. roast enough for one pot of coffee at a time till you get consistent, that way you won't waste as much & you can learn how to perfectly roast it to fit your mood.

enjoyed my first batch
Used a popcorn air popper to roast about a half cup. It took around 13-14 minutes and made delicious espresso. Decided I will be doing this outside from now on due to setting off the smoke alarm and also due to chaff flying out and making a mess.

Unsatisfactory :(
Coffee came in a huge oversized bag and weight was light. Bag was Not sealed, air exposed. Other companies I've ordered from were not like this at all. Dont think I'll order from them again!! :(

Makes the best green coffee!!
I’ve been using another brand for a year now and finally switched to Anthony’s organic, the best. I make green coffee out of this, as an overall health supplement, the coffee comes out a nice dark green after 3 hours on low on the stove, the best part of my morning. I can’t wait to try other products!

Old Green Coffee Beans
Don't buy. The beans have to be roasted. They are hard, and rubber like. Good for nothing. I have a powerful Vitamix machine container for grinding beans etc. The beans would NOT grind, and just bounced around in the machine. I was stunned! I think the beans must be years old. You could boil for hours, and not extract a flavor. Frankly, they are useless for any possible purpose unless roasted 1st. So! This is a great way to rid of OLD beans, because you have been duped with a non-refundable purchase.
