Impressed With Quality!
I looked at cheaper sets but most of the other ones looked like much lower quality and were not measured in inch units. Before purchasing this set, I ruined several hub grease seals when repacking my trailer wheel bearings. I tried lightly tapping the seals, used a 2x4 block and several other methods. All fell short and caused more than a little fowl language to slip out! This set is very well made and made the job much easier. Best of all, saves time! I never have enough time... Well packaged and case fits well. There is even built in laminated how too sheets hinged into the case. I highly recommend this set! Worth the money!

Nice quality!!
I recently received it quickly and was very impressed with it. The slide hammer feels solid and has some decent weight to it. And the components/attachments are also good quality. Sadly, I didn't get to use the slide hammer function to pull the the rear axle from my 99 WJ because after I removed the 4 mounting nuts, I just gave a little tug on the axle hub with my hands and the axle just slid out. That will probably never happen again! But I was able to use the claw components to pull out the bearing race from the axle tube and with ease. I would definitely recommend this axle puller set for pulling axles. I am now just waiting for my front hub bearings to arrive so I can use this to remove the old hub bearings.

Best kit for the price
I needed to replace both front wheel bearings and hubs on my 2002 Maxima, and I didn't want to pay a shop $700 to do it. The factory service manual recommended a 5 ton press to remove and install the bearings. Forget that. A lot of other kits I looked at were hub tamer kits for $400+ which is way more than I wanted to spend. So I went with the OTC Hub puller and this Alltrade kit, both together were less than $200 shipped. I have to say, the kit is of good overall quality for the price range. Sure, you could pay three to fives times as much for other, better-known brands, but for the weekend mechanic, this kit is more than enough. One of the bearings was spun so bad it exploded in half when I pulled the hub, so I knew I'd have a good time trying to pound it out. I was able to use a Craftsman air gun @ 90psi to operate this tool, unlike a previous reviewer who said the bolt stripped, I didn't not have this problem. The bolt showed no signs of adverse wear on the threads. Just make sure the adapter and receiver line up so you're not pounding away on the spindle knuckle. Even though this kit is not advertised as such, I was also able to use it to install the new hubs into the bearings. Just use one of the adapters to brace the back of the bearing, and another adapter on the hub, and drive away. Make sure you use a light coating of clean oil to lubricate the bearing outer race and hub before installation to ease the process. This kit along with my craftsman 26gal compressor and gun worked faster than my buddy's Matco setup with a 220v IR air compressor. Go figure. If you need to replace press-in FWD bearings, BUY THIS KIT. Just make sure you do it right and you should achieve great results!!

This great kit had the correct sized bearing tools for my car
I needed an odd-sized bearing tool, one that fits a 74 mm diameter bearing. This was the only kit I could find that had it. Much to my surprise, the kit worked very well and had everything needed to make the job go easy. This tool has more available sized bearing discs to fit the non-standard metric (European or Asian) bearings that are out there, which makes it a good value. Though I wasn't sure about what sizes are included in the kit - that info doesn't seem to be listed anywhere - I called AllTrade, which is located in California, and the service people were able to tell me that it had the size tool I needed. The quality of the pieces looks very good. I would expect the parts to hold up just fine. Everything in this kit is black zinc-plated steel, not aluminum as with the less expensive kits. Unlike the other reviewer, the threaded bolt held strong during my job. Make sure if you are using an impact wrench to drive the bolt that the bearing disc is completely pressing on the bearing, and NOT on the knuckle. It can bind up on the knuckle sometimes, in which case I would expect the impact wrench to strip or snap the threaded stud, quality of the part notwithstanding. If you plan to use the bolt and an impact wrench to drive the bearing out instead of a press, make sure you have a 32 mm (impact) socket to turn the main drive nut. I used a Tekton 32 mm impact socket impact bought here on Amazon, and it worked perfectly. The head of the bolt is 28 mm, which I held fast with an adjustable crescent wrench.

Works as Directed
If a good old hammer doesn’t knock it loose this certainly will in my experience. I haven’t met a hub assembly or bearing I could get out with it! For the price it’s a nice tool to have around. I would say that I use a towel around the handle and whip it back instead of my hand, while both work you seem to get more leverage or force this way. Best of luck!

Better than using a socket to drive a bearing could be useful to write the sizes in metric also....

If you've got your car up on jack stands or a lift, and are stuck because the hub is seized or the axel splines seized , Just get this tool. took me 5 minutes to get it off after hours of using a hammer, blow torch, and many other methods. Worst case if you use it once you can sell it on marketplace or kijiji and get most of your money back .

Excellent item and cheaper when I bought for only £14.27. I believe the quality is good although it was made in Taiwan. Plus the included users' manual, hinged inside the robust case, is nicely presented. The product description stated for Ford vehicles but this tool can also be used for other car makes. Excellent and fast delivery service by Amazon prime. I highly recommend this product.
