Wonderful for baking.
Okay, so you get the ube powder. It's the beautiful purple color I love with the nutty taste I was looking for. My issue with the powder is that it is hard to not get lumps. This would be perfectly fine if I only bought this to take with or to use as food coloring, but because I bought this to make ube latte's I need the texture to be right. So going forward, I'm going to buy liquid ube extract.

Great alternative to additive food dyes!
My kid wanted a purple birthday cake. I didn't want to use additive food dyes to make the frosting. I used this alternative and it turned out really really well! It is pretty nutritious and much safer to eat than food dyes you would get at the store.

Delicious and a pretty purple
I was so happy to see pure taro root powder because in the past, I’ve only seen the syrup kind. I used this in my homemade ice cream machine and I’m hooked!!! Of course, since it’s powder, the liquid I added it to needed to be blended together before going into my ice cream machine. It was a beautiful purple and tasted delicious. I loved it so much, I sent another set of ingredients to my sister so she could make it for my nephew and nieces at home!!!

Not what I was looking for
Not what I was looking for. It is basically just a purple powder. Would probably be great if you wanted to add color for baking. I was looking for Taro powder to make shakes. Taro powder has a very distinctive taste and this basically has not taste.

Nutritious, organic, and beautiful color!
I have never used ube before and wanted to try it in crinkle cookies. I only used the powder (no ube jam or extract) and a small amount of natural violet food coloring. The recipe was from youtube. They turned out pretty good and my family enjoyed them. I also made ube chia overnight oatmeal breakfast parfait with yogurt and blueberries. The recipe for that is on the Suncore website. The shipping was quick. I recommend their products. Great company.

Use as *2nd or 3rd* smoothie ingredient, not 1st!
Very nice, mild sweet potato flavor; beautiful rich color. But if you add it to your blender as the first ingredient when making a smoothie, it gets stuck in all the little nooks & on the blades. And once wetted by other ingredients it gets stuck & verrry difficult to remove. Learn from my experience and add this powder *on top* of other ingredients. Otherwise it's a very tasty, healthy (and pretty!) addition to a smoothie.
