Perfect for removing BMW axle nuts!
I fought with the rear axle nuts on my E30 BMW for days before trying this product. No amount of PB Blaster or heat would budge those nuts and the 12pt Craftsman socket I had kept slipping off the nut. The socket was also too short, so I had to use an extension on my breaker bar which also made getting a grip on the nut difficult. I ordered this socket as a last resort and lo and behold it worked perfectly! The 6pt design gets a MUCH better grip on a 6pt nut (major lesson learned), and the body of the socket is long enough to NOT require an extension. With a little leverage on my breaker bar I was able to break the nut loose with relative ease. I have not been this pleased with a $12 tool purchase in a LONG time. Thanks Amazon!

Perfect for Z3 VANOS removal
Just wha I needed to get the outlet VANOS off my Z3. This socket had a little more clearance that the ones I bought at autozone, so it was just big enough to slide right over the end of the VANOS. Has held up well in my tookbox since!

36mm socket
I had to get this to change my oil filter core on my Super duty Ford diesel , Honestly I was not expecting this high of quality made tool But it is very well made and would last a long time for any use.. Its as good as any of my other sockets that came off of the tool truck for the Pro's at there shops that cost $$$ more

I just hate to have to leave in the middle of repairs ...
This socket was not cut right and didn't fit what I needed it for. I am changing wheel bearings and had to go to auto parts store for a 35 mm socket that fit. 35 mm should be 35mm. The one I received would not go on an axle nut. It says it will even in its description. I guess that what you get when you try to save a buck, or so I thought. Got one that fits at the store for 9 bucks. Even with gas I saved 4 dollars. I just hate to have to leave in the middle of repairs for something that should work but doesn't. Even the best laid plans.....well sending it back. Wish me luck.....

Great quality
This is the socket I needed to a cartridge-type oil filter on my European SUV. Fits great, heavy duty, and works well. Should last a long time.

Works for 7.3 IPR
Bought this and a flex head ratchet to take out the IPR on my truck. Worked perfect, would recommend.

Exactly as described
This is a good socket as long as you don't need it for an impact gun (make sure that you buy an impact socket if you intend on it being used in that way) . That being said, I'm hard pressed to say this will last very long. I used it for my hub bearing and it seemed like it was going to crack, it didn't yet, but when you pick up a Snap On socket and then this one, you can tell by just comparing the two what one is the snap on just by feeling the quality of the socket in comparison. If you don't plan on using this a lot, not a bad deal,
