Ivation 4-LED Motion Sensor Light - Black - Battery Powered Night Light with a Built in Motion and Light Sensor

I use this light to illuminate my closet. I have it set on "auto" so that it turns on every time I open my door. In fact, there have been times where I've forgotten to close the door and it turn on when I get out of bed from across the room. The light is bright white and would fill a small room, closet, shed, or hallway. Mine has lasted on the same batteries for five months now. I don't have it mounted, instead I just have it setting on it's side with the motion sensor facing outwards. The sensor works pretty much every time. There has been only a handful of times that I've had to wave my hand so that it turned on. Recommended.

These are great!.... when they actually work... The battery dies pretty quickly, about a month's worth, then it's just ALWAYS on until the battery dies. Very strange, and CREEPY when you're home alone. The light is VERY bright and shines up the dark corners! Would I buy again? Probably not, since I've used up so many batteries that it all adds up in the end, but I'll take it out when I visitors over. Impractical to have it up all the time.

Easy to install, does what it should do.. Light has ok brightness nothing to call home about.. for me I wish the light would stay on for more than 20secs after motion detected..it seems to go off quickly...but besides that have three of them and have no problems so far.

The construction is light weight, but I guess it will be fine for what it is. It puts out adequate light in very low light environments with fairly broad distribution. When set to auto it turns on very quickly. One of the reason I purchased this thing was the auto mode feature which the description says it stays on as long as there is movement. Well the first one I got would turn off after 30 seconds and turn back on. It always did the same thing no matter how much I moved and at any distance within the stated range. I thought I got a defective one so I purchased a second one and it does the exact same thing. I paid $6.99 for this thing and I would have returned it If I had paid more. Update: "it's so efficient that you will get more than 2,400 activation's on one set of batteries" I've been using mine for just under 3 months. I installed new Duracell batteries when I first got this thing and now they are dead. I estimate the batteries only lasted somewhere around 400 activation's. Update: The second set of new Duracell batteries lasted about the same 400 or so activations.

I bought this for our front stairs (my wife and I are early 50's) and was impressed enough to order some for our elderly parents. No stairs there,but they put one outside their bedroom door a knee height , and the other about 25 feet away near the kitchen. That gives them great lighting (these are surprisingly bright) from the minute they would walk out of the bedroom, and gives me a little more peace of mind ...were I this company Id market the senior demographic. Cheap insurance. The sensors have good range, and you can play around with the positioning to get the field of sensor pickup where you want it. I HIGHLY recommend these for anyone, especially my age and up. Or down!

Not very useful as the area it illuminates is smaller than you may expect.

I bought two of these to go in the kitchen to save electricity on late night kitchen runs. They do tend to go through batteries fast. They only have to come on when someone goes in the kitchen late at night but they still seem to need batteries at least once a month. I dropped on the other day when I was replacing the batteries. Wouldn't work after that so I question the durability too.

We Love These Little Lites. As we are aging we need to assure our footing. These little lights are perfect for lighting our paths down stairs and to the bathroom. We placed them strategically to light our way. Other lighting is not required as we have them placed along our nightly paths. They come on and go off as required. Being LEDs they are not battery burners like so many other conveniences.
