Let’s say that I’m not much of an impulse shopper. Much thought and some level of research goes into what I spend my money on. Especially if purchased online and I’m not able to physically see the product in person. Before I’d decided on this item I’d spent maybe a bit too much time looking for “the one”. I like to be educated on the product and make sure it’s what we need. While doing my little search I’d found many very affordable bulbs that sounded great. But then I see that they all have different wattages and brightness, features. This bulb offers much more brightness than many I’ve looked into. They certainly live up to my expectations and I'm super picky. Upon unboxing, I find two common looking LED bulbs. Both were in good condition, and easy to install. Just twist like any ordinary bulb. Getting it started was pretty simple. I already had the smart home app so just synced them up as directed in the pamphlet and they work perfectly. I can’t tell you how much I love not slamming into everything in the middle of the night, because now it’s as easy as “Alexa, night light” and a dim blue light turns on 1 second later. The same goes for turning it out. Super easy to use and the app works great. The integration of our echo dots and these bulbs is seamless. We will definitely be adding more to our home.

These bulbs are amazing. They handle so many colors and temperatures, and are very compatible with smart assistants (using Alexa and Siri via Homebridge). The Smart Life app also has several scenes that are nice. Also, after a month of use, one of the bulbs wasn't turning on. I contacted the seller and they immediately shipped out a free replacement. Thank you!

I've been experimenting with LED lighting for the past 6 years in my home. I found great in-ceiling replacements for the incandescent lighting in my home. If you dig through my reviews you'll find those. Three years later I found these and they are a GREAT option. The thing about these lights is that they are BRIGHT. They are an honest 90W bulb. So if you need proper illumination you get it with these. Next they have variable temperature settings. If you use these with your existing lighting (warm or cool) you can match the color of the existing lights so that they are a seamless addition. From old school pale yellow up to harsh blue workshop lighting these will fit right in. The things that complete the dunk... The price. You can't touch the value. What you get for what you pay is MMMWAH! Perfect... The app is the final piece. I already had the app on my phone because I have wall switches and a fireplace which needed it. The controlling app is no nonsense yet fairly flexible. You can operate all of the features of the bulb and even create programmed timed events or "if-this-happens-then-do-that" action events. Now for the few cons (which are minor in my book)... -- There are no "fun" options in the app, like strobe lights, pulsating alternating colors or other programmable tricks. -- Also the light is tricky to get into pairing mode. You have to follow the instructions EXACTLY if you're going to ever get it into pairing. There's virtually no way a child fiddling with your light switches will trigger a reset or pairing event. But, that also means you have to work like you're on the bomb squad to get these to trip into programming mode. All in all, my first impression is a good one. So much so that I've ordered three more double packs to replace the handful of lights inside the house that I want to make RGB+W wifi controllable. I definitely recommend. Update [16 OCT 2020]: Still going great. I have 10 installed all around my house. The SmartLife app has since added color changing effects like pulsing changing colours and such. *+*+*+*+*

Total pieces of garbage. Wasted time, money, and effort with these useless bulbs. After taking over an hour and multiple attempts to get these bulbs to connect to my WiFi, I finally got it. The bulbs themselves had great settings, colors look nice but very dim, and when set to a normal light it was very bright. However, after 2 weeks of use both of my lights are now permanently offline. At first, one of them went offline and came back within a day or two. Then it went offline for a total of 5 days. I've done everything the FAQ suggests within the app and it did absolutely nothing. Both of my bulbs are now completely useless and I had to take apart my light fixtures to re-install my old normal bulbs. Do not buy unless you are looking to play a gamble on how long they will work and spend endless time fiddling with them being offline.

Great LED bulb - smart bulb is controlled with an Ap to change colors and brightness. Got this for my husband— he loves his new toy. Enclosed is a QR code, you scan it to install the Ap. Then just install the bulb where you like and use the Ap to change the settings. Tried it out in the lamp in the pics, but we are actually going to put it outdoors in a sconce light on the back porch. Fun!

Title says it all. This is one of the least expensive, most bright, easiest to pair lights. The Google home integration is really good (goes beyond creating groups of lights and turning them on/off; you can even set colors with your voice). I am ordering more of these lights.
