Highly informative. Loved the book. It has everything you need to write manga or learn the art of Japanese storytelling.

Not that I am going to write Manga but the book has hints for excellent character development such as characters work as a team not as a one person hero. I am led to believe in Japanese or Manga culture, the people work unselfishly for the good of society. Also, characters are a little over-exaggerated as the author points out. The book will compliment your Manga drawing and writing bookshelf.

I read %25 so far and I learned many things! I read many books about story telling and this is one of the best. For now is not so “how to” and explains a bit of every aspect which is very useful anyway. I am very happy that I found it and I look forward to read it all! Thank you for the amazing book!

How to Write Manga gives you alot of information on how to write good stories. I like the plot formulas what manga writers use, and the important elements that make characters complex. It follows different genres too. Fantasy, shonen, romance, and others that are familiar in manga books. It also explains what it is like writing in the manga industry, which is a hard job. I enjoyed reading this book and it gave me some ideas on how I should write my own stories.

Sarebbe stata bella qualche illustrazione in più, ma questa "lacuna" viene compensata da regole precise e dettagliate su come è composto un dato genere di manga, come funziona, le parti in gioco. Persino le battaglie che ormai siamo abituati a vedere nei più famosi shonen manga si basano su regole specifiche ben spiegate in questo manuale. Questa "edizione revisionata" è arricchita da un metodo particolare chiamato "ki-sho-ten-ketsu", che se ben appreso, ti apre un mondo sull'ABC del fare una storia! Personalmente lo sto adorando pagina per pagina, e lo raccomando a chi cerca delle solide basi per una qualsiasi storia, ma anche per semplici appassionati che vogliono capire meglio come sono fatti i manga più famosi! ^^)d
