Nikon D7100 for Dummies

Great help book. For D7100

This book is the best information on navigating your way around the camera. It is written in layman's terms with photos showing what appears on your screen or viewfinder for each operation. Even the index is truly complete and listed as you would hunt for an operation. I would hate this camera if I didn't have this book to show me exactly what I can do with it and exactly how to do it. Love the Dummies books. A great investment. This is how a manual should be written.

Better than trying to follow online!

Julie Adair King's books are excellent. Not only are they good instructional books, but are good references as well. Because of that, I bought the Kindle version so I can have it with me on my laptop, phone, and tablet. These books are well-illustrated, clearly written, and technically correct. I strongly recommend this one and her general Digital Photography for Dummies book as well.

These books are the best for several reasons, number one they show actual photos of what you are looking for so you can find it on your camera, they also break it down much better than most so I can understand it better, having it in book form means I can highlight it and flip back to it as much as I need to so I can remember everything! I went from shooting full auto, to shooting full manual in just about a month with using this book!

I have a background in film photography from years ago and this is my first excursion into serious digital photography. I am half way through the book and find it easy to read and informative and I appreciate the light and humorous comments as well. A great companion to your new D7100. Amazon service and was fast and dependable as usual

Definitely helped me to learn my new camera when I got it last Christmas. Lots of helpful tips. Ms King does not make you feel like a "dummie" though. She gives you info in a straight forward way and shows example in the form of pictures. I put it on my tablet so I would have it with me and could refer back to it when I needed to......

I just got this camera and it is quite an advancement from the camera I have. I had no clue how to get started with it. I saw this book on Amazon.com and read what I could there in it. I am so glad I purchased it as it is a very helpful tool. It explains in layman's terms how to use this camera. The instruction booklet that came with the camera is useless to someone who has never used this camera before. My suggestion to Nikon is to either print a book that will actually help the user or better yet give this book "Nikon D7100 For Dummies" with the purchase of each camera.

Dommage qu'on ne l'avait pas trouvé en français.

This book is very helpful. The way the topics are broken down make it useful to find information quickly. I think it is a great tool to help with use of my new camera. I especially enjoy the tips on the outer edges of the page. Quick references to little things that could be problems but can be fixed without going into a lot of detail. I will use this book a lot and it was worth every penny.

I like this book, it explains realy well, Some of the information is in the manual that came with the camera, but the manuls font is so small you can't read it very well. This book has clear pictures to walk through the 1001 options of the camera, and goes into great detial of all the functions, but is easy to understand. It is well laid out just great for a beginner like me.
