Okayish set...
I love the whole "Vs" line of decks, most of the decks go up in price, and are fun to play. Not tournament winners, but fun. Venser Vs. Koth is not one of the better "Vs" sets. The rares/uncommons are lower end, the themes are there, but not very cut throat. I do kinda like the decks, but this set may be the first of the Vs. series to not go up in value. Sorry for the long list, but Amazon wont let me space the 2 decks side by side.Venser's Deck - Evade and ShimmerCreatures (23)1 Whitemane Lion1 Augury Owl1 Coral Fighters1 Minamo Sightbender1 Mistmeadow Witch2 Scroll Thief1 Neurok Invisimancer2 Slith Strider1 Sky Spirit1 Wall of Denial1 Galepowder Mage1 Kor Cartographer1 Clone1 Cryptic Annelid1 Primal Plasma1 Sawtooth Loon1 Cache Raiders1 Windreaver1 Jedit's Dragoons1 Sunblast Angel1 Sphinx of Uthuun Spells (13)1 Venser, the Sojourner1 Path to Exile2 Preordain1 Sigil of Sleep1 Revoke Existence1 Angelic Shield1 Oblivion Ring1 Safe Passage1 Steel of the Godhead1 Vanish into Memory2 OverruleLands (24)1 Azorius Chancery1 Flood Plain1 New Benalia2 Sejiri Refuge1 Soaring Seacliff7 Plains11 IslandKoth's Deck - Erupt and OverwhelmCreatures (21)2 Plated Geopede1 Pygmy Pyrosaur2 Pigrim's Eye1 Aether Membrane2 Fiery Hellhound1 Vulshok Sorcerer1 Anger1 Cosi's Ravager1 Vulshok Berserker1 Bloodfire Kavu1 Stone Giant1 Geyser Glider1 Lithophage1 Torchling1 Chartooth Cougar1 Earth Servant1 Greater Stone Spirit1 Bloodfire Colossus Spells (14)1 Koth of the Hammer2 Wayfarer's Bauble1 Armillary Sphere1 Journeyer's Kite1 Vulshok Morningstar1 Searing Blaze1 Vulshok Battlegear1 Downhill Charge2 Seismic Strike1 Spire Barrage1 Jaws of Stone1 Volley of BouldersLands (25)25 Mountain

Ultimately worth it, but a little disappointing
I have some duel decks, and this one is not the best of the bunch. I give it a high rating because it succeeds at what it sets out to do: the decks are balanced with each other and provide a fun match, regardless of how experienced the players are. Also, the planeswalkers alone are worth the price of admission if you're a collector, and the emblems will definitely become a must for completists. So, what's wrong with it? Well, the decks are simply weak. They are built reasonably well, you have a nice ratio of each type of card and some interesting strategies (lots of landfall for Koth, some nice use of bouncing for Venser), but the cards themselves are mostly very weak. That is to be expected at this price, bu when I say the decks are weak, I'm not comparing them to a deck you might have been building for years and spent some hundred dollars on; they are weak in comparison with other duel decks. For example, Phyrexia or Coalition can beat Venser or Koth easily. If you want to play for fun, this is one of the cheapest duel decks out there nowadays. If you want the planeswalkers, this is a nice way to get them. You might be disappointed with the decks at first, but they are definitely worth their current price (I got it for under $12).

Great value but the front cards need protected better.
I love Duel Decks. And I really like this one. They can provide an easy means for obtaining planeswalkers if they are featured and can provide some other really good cards too.The alternate artwork on these 2 foil planeswalkers in particular is fantastic.I do have a problem with how these are packaged though, which is why I removed a star. The front 2 cards are not sealed with the rest of the deck. They float in front of them. When mine arrived Koth was only half visible. I don't know if the package shifted during shipping but when I opened the box he was bent. They should include these in with the rest of the cards to keep them stable.

Perfection
This product is probably one of the best Duel Decks to date.Shipping was super fast only taking 2 days even though I chose the slowest possible method. This seller is actually my local Magic the Gathering store which I did not know until I looked at the seller information after ordering. This seller is possibly the best to buy from. I personally only buy my Magic cards from them, so I can speak from experience that the product that you receive will be perfect like mine.

Wowie!
The two decks honestly aren't that great, but I knew that going into it (just look up the deck lists). It is great that it comes with two planeswalkers and their emblem cards and there are a few good cards in both decks. I bought it to tear apart the decks and put some of the cards in other decks. Not a bad price really. The shipping was unbelievably fast and packed very well.

It's pretty good has a lot of low mana costing creature and I like blue and white. Also I really like Koth's second ability it made me win the game and 19-3 and i used the ability and won so buy you will like it.

Great for getting started
The two decks are doing a great job getting my sister and I in to Magic. After just one round we immediately are understanding the concept of the differences between decks and how that effects gameplay. There is a sheet that comes with the product that explains all the rules you need to know to get started.

Good decks.
I'm still working on figuring out Venser's deck, and I'll probably switch up some cards in that deck. But, I'm enjoying it. I got everything I ordered, and I'm satisfied.

Koth rocks it all
Ein gutes Beispiel für ein rotes Schadens-Deck? Koth!
