I've been using audio to help me sleep some nights for a long time and I've found it beneficial. Whether from the body being restless or sore or the mind being active or stressed, sound files (such as Brain.fm or long tracks on Insight Timer and other tracks, some with binaural beats, others without) have been very beneficial. But they've always come with one problem: the headphones/earbuds. Unless you sleep alone, you have to use a listening device to not bug your housemate(s). If you're a constant back sleeper, a bluetooth headset with a long enough battery life could work OK, but even then it can be uncomfortable to wear them for 6-9 hours - especially the earbuds. If you're a side sleeper or stomach sleeper at all (like me) those become very uncomfortable and painful after just a short time because of the pressure of being between your ear and the pillow where all the weight of your head is on one of them. Plus, they easily slip out. And if they have any wire, they get tangled up. This product solves that. By taking the speakers out of the ear, there isn't direct pressure inside anymore. Plus, they are kept in place inside the material. NOTE: I found if you place the speakers directly above your ear opening, it can still be a little uncomfortable after some time. It's still FAR better than regular earbuds/headphones. I found the best placement for me was to move them to the upper part of the band, still on my ear but at the top part. I turn the volume up just a bit more and can hear it plenty well and NO PAIN that way, even wearing it all night and sleeping on my sides/stomach most of the time. I've played with different volume levels and even with it turned up to where it would be a sleep inhibitor, my partner cannot even tell I'm listening to something. When it turn it down to a comfortable and effective level for me, it works great. It doesn't actually have noise cancellation technology, but it does an effective job of blocking out background noise. I put it at a level where I can still hear someone calling out or other really loud noises, but where I can also hear the audio program to be effective. EXCELLENT OVERLOOKED DESIGN FEATURE: For side/stomach sleepers, this is critical and is often overlooked. Other similar masks place the control unit (the power and control buttons) on the side. For side sleepers, this would be horrible. You'd be laying on it and it would apply pressure to your face and probably result in the buttons being pushed inadvertently. With this model, though, the control panel is front and center - which means it is out of the way for side sleepers and never gets accidentally pushed. And don't worry about the little red and blue lights in it. They are behind the material and are not an annoyance to anyone. Yet, they are still bright enough to be functionally useful when you need to see them. (The bright light from my Fitbit is about 1,000 times brighter and more annoying at night every time I move my arm.) And for me, the addition of the sleep mask is a nice bonus. I never used one before and didn't really need it, but thought I'd give it a try because I wanted the speakers out of my ears. The sleep mask is great, though. It's very comfortable and keeps cool and doesn't affect breathing at all. I've found it to be a wonderful bonus. I like to position it in such a way that just the smallest amount of light gets through the bottom, but you could position it for complete darkness if you wish. So, yeah, this is a great product! It's helped me enjoy sound sleep with the assistance of sound many nights - and without the pain in the ear from regular earbuds/headphones. It's got some great design features that make it very user friendly as well as bed-mate friendly. I highly recommend it, especially for side sleepers.

TL;DR: If you're here, you're probably not sleeping right. Buy this device. It works wonders. If you work night shift, you know how unhealthy and deeply unsatisfying sleep is. More accurately, lack of sleep: I would just sit awake in bed, the sun coming up, and wait for it to be time to get ready for work again. I'd doze off three or four times a morning, just barely being able to nap, and by the last cycle of nap-wake up-repeat it would be time to drag myself out of bed. This simple, inexpensive product has almost solved this issue. Is it perfect? No, nothing is, but this does better than any OTC medication I've tried to date and doesn't have to be ordered twice a month. Nor will it destroy your kidneys or hormonal balance, and it's side effect free. This is soft, very soft, and once it warms up you can barely even feel it aside from a very slight pressure. Maybe pressure isn't even the right word, it's just kind of "there". If you're a side sleeper like me, don't worry about the speakers: you have enough padding on the inside for it to rest comfortably over the ear. I've tried sleep earbuds before this, and while the noise isolation was much better simply because they're in the ear, this does far better for comfort. Battery life is exceptional. I can get 2 nights reliably on one charge, which only takes about 20 minutes. When I come home, i plug it in, and by the time dinner is ready the device is charged. I never have to worry about it being bricked from a forgotten charge. Audio quality is more than acceptable for the purpose. The speakers are intentionally quiet, as they should be. You don't need a blasting top end for volume with these, you're trying to sleep. Sound is clear, with the same barely perceptible distortion you'd find on any bluetooth device. Any kind of music will be fine, as is my use case. If you're one of *those people* who listens to ASMR, this should be fine, not that I would know after not ever using this for ASMR at any point. Really. I promise. Lastly, if for some reason you decide the bluetooth just isn't for you, it's designed to have the whole system removed for cleaning. So, technically, you could rip the techno-guts out of this and store it somewhere and have a perfectly good normal sleep mask. If you are an insomniac, if you work night shift, or if you just want quiet music at night: buy this device. It's so cheap for what it gets you: drug-free sleep.

This is the first sleep mask of this kind that I have owned. The jury is still kind of out on it for myself, but I still think its a good product. Its comfortable. The speakers arent overly noticeable most of the time. It does get loud. The sound is good. I have 2 main complaints. 1) the position i have to wear the strap for the speakers to be in line with my ears is too low on the back of the head. Its pretty uncomfortable at times. Idk what the fix for that would be tho. 2) the volume and clarity of the speakers are great. Im pretty impressed by it, but the volume change between the last and second to last setting is too big of a jump. A volume in between the two would be nice. I havent tested it to see if it helps with blocking out my husband's snoring or not. Ive been sleeping in a separate bedroom. Im hoping these will help me be able to sleep in the same bed as him again

This is extremely effective. It is light and comfortable and also adjustable so never too tight. The fabric is a soft cushion of silk and blocks both light and outside sounds. An excellent product for everyone who has difficulty sleeping and does not want to disturb others. Very good for night shift workers trying to sleep in bright daylight. The electronica are simple to use so you can adjust loudness or turn on and off very easily. I haven't yet tried removing the parts for washing but I am sure it is as simple as everything else. I would highly recommend this to anyone. I looked at other products and this was by far the best.

Very bad experience, when I sleep on my right it pushes my nose and I cant breathe anymore, also they don’t allow me to return it so I just waisted my money💔

J’ai testé ce masque pour dormir et écouter mes séances d’hypnose… et j’en suis ravie ! Le contour des yeux en mousse à mémoire de forme est incroyablement doux : les yeux ne sont pas écrasés. Le son est d’une très belle qualité, immersif sans être agressif. La texture du masque est agréable au contact de la peau, on l’oublie rapidement une fois en place. Un vrai petit bijou qui transforme l’endormissement en moment de pur confort. Je recommande à 100 % !
