Great Trigger Point Tool. Made in the USA.
First, the Jacknobber is made of hardened, smooth clear plastic (may be a diff material) and it is made in the USA. It has four pressure points of different sizes, I use the bigger ones to apply pressure to areas on my neck and shoulder and instantly feel it working on trigger points. You can massage or simply apply pressure to your trigger points to relieve some of your pain. I suggest holding the jacknobber down for about 20 seconds on trigger points or slowly slide up and down on larger areas you are working on. My wife has used it on me and I on her. We both have felt a huge difference compared to other products we've used. I like the fact that it is so smooth, it slides on your skin with ease, without the need to use lotion or balms. You can still use some, but I don't think you'll need to. The Jacknobber is compact, light and very strong. I can't really see it snapping off. A great, well made product. Give it a try, but be patient and do it right. You might need more than just a few sessions/tries. This product is not intented to cure or resolve medical issues you maybe having. I have pain due to an industrial accident, so the Jacknobber only helps me get temporary relief, but as short as it maybe, this little tool does help me work on my trigger points. If you any doubts, ask your doctor first. Good Luck.

Really amazing massager
I just got the jacknobber about a week and half ago. I had pain in my shoulders from knots due to heavy weightlifting over the years. I put it on the ground and leaned into it with my shoulder. It hit all the tiny hard to reach knots. both shoulder now feels 100% better. I also have a huge knot in one of my glute muscles which in turn causes my lower back and hamstring to be tight. I was able to hit all the same hard to reach spots where the pain is. I can already feel my glute muscle loosening up and functioning better when i walk. Considering how cheap this product is and how effective it is gotta be the best massage device I've ever had.

Works good, but lacks the human touch.
This is a good tool for making it easier for massage therapists to apply concentrated pressure in small areas. One can use their whole palm to apply pressure to an area no bigger than a thumb print, making this tool excellent for digging deep into muscle knots and relieving tension. It also feels good rubbed lightly over large areas. What this tool lacks is the "human touch". Human hands and fingertips have padding, but this tool is made of hard plastic, so it's difficult to apply precise pressure levels and feel muscle tension areas like one can with just their hands and fingers. Overall, I'd say this tool is useful for limited circumstances, i.e. easily applying high pressure to small areas, but it still can't replace the fingers for sensing muscle tension and applying precise levels of pressure.

Great for pressure points and working out knots
My feet and shoulders tend to cause me the most pain and this Jacknobber has given me a lot of relief. For my shoulders, I typically use my theracane as I haven't figured just how to correctly position this thing to dig into my shoulders, but for my feet, this is awesome. There are 4 different sized ends allowing you to switch to the size needed in order to get to the knot causing the pain. I typically run the largest one up and down my arches over my socks to loosen up and sort of "warm up" the area I'm going to work on, and then I use one of the smaller sizes to apply direct pressure and work out the knots. Depending on how much I work the same area, I can end up sore, but the relief I feel overrides any temporary soreness. One 30 minute session with my jacknobber is usually good enough to keep my feet pain free for a solid week before I need to use it again. Now, going back to my shoulders, this thing feels AMAZING when my husband uses it to do my shoulders for me, but like I said, I can't seem to pinpoint my shoulder knots and get it as deep as he can. This also feels good on my calves. Just lightly running it up and down my legs relieves a lot of tension. I think this is a great product for knots and pressure points and the hard plastic material leads me to believe this thing will last for a very long time. I also like how lightweight it is so it doesn't tire my hands when I'm using it. It's also a perfect size ( it stands 3.5" tall and 4" long) and comfortably fits into my hands and my husband's hands.

Okay
I have very deep tissue knots, no matter how hard or how long they are rubbed, they never go away. I have had the same knot for almost two years, so I started looking for tools to help my husband when he rubs my back. I tried one that was in the shape of a dolphin, but the fins left giant indentions in my back. Then I found this, so I ordered it. It does get down to a couple of the knots, but it doesn't touch my deep knot. To bad those shiatsu chair massager's are so expensive. All in all, this is an okay product, but it doesn't do much for my knots.

This tool is incredibly effective for reaching deep muscles
I use the Jacknobber II on the muscles around my right SI joint. These muscles are deep and very hard to reach, but the nobber's smaller points (it has two diameters: 7/8 in. and 1 1/8 in.) are very effective. The tool's height is 3 1/2 in., which makes it possible to apply a lot of force into the muscle by using your own weight. The first time I used the nobber I stayed on the floor for 30-45 minutes or more, placing it under my hip and working it deep into the muscles. Pressing those long-cramped muscles into submission felt so good that I over did it, and I had a little soreness the next day. But I started to learn how to use the tool with greater and greater effectiveness without getting sore at all. The tool's hardness is an asset in my opinion. It is not difficult to control how much pressure you apply, and the tool doesn't squish away when you want to press hard. I'm amazed at how many nooks and crannies with cramped muscles I've found around the SI joint using the smaller points, and how many directions I can tug and press the muscles with it. I've tried the Davinci Tool Firm and the Knobble II as well. They are both good products and have their uses - but for deep, pinpoint control, this tool is my favorite by far.

Artikel wie beschrieben, flott geliefert. Künftig werde ich den Jacknobber immer dabei haben. Besonders wenn ich verreise. Sehr Empfehlenswert zur Massage von Triggerpunkten und Faszien.

Excellent piece of equipment although slightly overpriced. My daughter, a Physiotherapy Doctor found the tool very effective as it reduced the pressure that she had to put by her own fingers earlier, on the patient's area of discomfort.
