Nintendo Super Mario - Mario Plush

I'm now tasked with ensuring my son gets the entire collection. Already, we have Mario, Luigi, and Yoshi, and soon, another will be on the way. My son is autistic, but as Mario and Luigi have been longtime friends on his games, he has been exploring his imaginative/creative side, and often has them talking to each other, even to him, as he acts out various "events." I've not yet had to wash them, as he truly treats them far more specially than most of his other "toys." Just the right size to join him as he falls asleep, and be there to say "Good Morning" to as he wakes up.

I purchased the Luigi plush from this same series first, and the reviews were right on...it was well made, stitched beautiful, detailed and just good quality. My sons loved it so much that I ordered the Mario too, and was surprised to find it was not at all like the Luigi doll.I'm not sure if quality control changed because it's become popular, or there was a bait and switch and this isn't the right doll (the tags look disimilar even though it's supposed to be part of a series), because it's shoddy, poorly stitched (and some parts weren't sewn down at all and there are loose pieces), there are loose threads ending all over and in odd places (like above the eyes), the fabric isn't even cut straight (the mustache and sideburns have choppy edges as though it were torn instead of cut, incredibly ragged) and the nose and hands were folded when shaped in a way that left them with pointed folds instead of a smooth shape (the nose looks like an octagon instead of a ball). The last straw were red stains on the white gloves where it rubbed against other fabrics that I can't get out- they need to separate them while storing to prevent this, this is just plain sloppy all around.My four year old said "Eew, this one looks strange" and won't play with it, and my two year old informed me that this Mario looks sick and he doesn't want it either. I was going to buy the entire set, but after this total bonk, we are just sticking with Luigi.Updated to add: Those sold by Amazon are perfect, the one that is a knock off was from Seller World 1-1 - I tried to get a refund but they aren't covered under Amazon's A-Z guarantee

Great product and good price

Okay, I admit this product wasn't for me. I bought this for my son's 7th birthday. He's a big fan of Mario; either playing video games or watching YouTube strategies. Anyway, this toy is a good companion on travel days and naptime/sleep time. It's small enough to fit in his backpack as well as light enough for him to carry by himself. And on long drives, it can sit next to him or on his lap without any safety issues. More importantly, it doesn't have any small parts nor hard plastic components that can cause any sort of accidental injuries. I like this toy; which explains the 4-starts.... But I'm pretty sure from my son's perspective this product easily gets five stars.

This Mario plush is okay, but could be better. He looks nice enough, until you place him next to another Mario that looks better (it's a bit like old Mario graphics verses new). The main complaints we had with this plush toy is that his colors are "off," (his face looks washed out and his eyes and suspenders are too light blue...not the darker blue they should be) and he is very firm/stiff feeling (not soft, cuddly, or pleasant to touch, as most plush toys are). Also, although it says he is made by Nintendo, he has no sewn on tag that says "official licensed Nintendo product," as I have seen on others. Will not purchase from this seller in the future.

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. It's just your standard stuffed animal, pretty durable, not shabby or cheap. At first I only got her Mario and Yoshi but I'm so pleased with the quality and appearance of them that I'm now going to get her Luigi, Toad and Princess.

My grandson lost his favorite plush Mario - So it was 'Grandma to the rescue'! I ordered this online and had it in his hands within days! One happy three year old boy!!! THANK YOU!!! (However, He noticed the tag on the back wasn't as soft and crumpled as the old one... LOL!)

Was disappointed in the size of the doll but it does look exactly as shown. I was expecting the bigger dolls. I guess if the dimensions was on there I missed it or didn't visualize the size very well. My grandson still liked them anyway. They came in time for Christmas.
