Wonderful but the instructions have one major flaw
If they send me a replacement bladder I will change this rating to a 5. (EDIT - the did.) The pack is beautifully made. Construction looks excellent. But the beautiful instructions SEEM to stop at the bottom of the first side. Step 1 put the bladder in. Step 2 thread the tube thru the strap. Step 3 Enjoy. So I look at it and think "hmmm, got to get that tube attached to the bladder". Look at it. Look at the bladder. Decide it looks a lot like a salad dressing bottle top that needs the tab lifted, so lift the tab. It popped off and I cannot get it back on. The tube goes in but it doesn't latch. (EDIT - the replacement tube just pops in and automatically locks.) At some point the instructions get flipped over (maybe even by accident, I don't know) and AHA - we were not done and ready to enjoy as step 3 indicated. The tab is the lock and release. I can see how it fit in, but I cannot get the tab back on. If I had just barged into it without looking at the instructions I would say my fault. But I followed the instructions, which seemed to end at the bottom of the front side. I don't think I even knew the back side wasn't blank. I have not found a way to contact Mothybot so resorting to this hoping they will take notice. It is a beautiful well-designed and made pack. Just the instructions are misleading and seem to have resulted in loss of use since I can't get the clip back on. I bought it in July and tried it on - very satisfied. But went to use it first time today (September), so out of the 30 day return policy. EDIT - the new bladder arrived today. I have not actually USED the pack, but have tried it on and find it very comfortable. I love the pockets!! One on each of the waistbands (about 6 x 3), a mesh pocket on the outside of the back (about 8 x 5), the bungies on the upper outer back, and inside the back pocket a slip-in pocket (about 8 x 9), a zippered pocket (about 8 x 7), and the full height pocket (about 8 x 14). Of course you can't stuff a ton of things in these pockets, but they make things really easy to find and retrieve. If I hadn't had the problem with the instructions, on first appraisal I would have looked to see if there were more than 5 stars to give, and now after putting the new bladder in and looking more closely at it, I would give it a 10 if that was an option.

Perfect pack!
Bought this for our summer trip to southern Utah and Arizona. Hiking and biking through national parks. My 14 year old (5’5”) wound up wearing it because she didn’t like the Camelbak I had for her, which I ended up wearing. This is a great pack, especially for the price, and I like it a lot more than mine and my sons Camelbak’s. She ended up being the one to carry everything because I only had a very small space for anything other than the bladder. She had room for all of our snacks, tubes of sunblock, sunglasses, etc. The bladder area was also insulated, which was really nice because the water stayed cool. My 12 year old wore a junior Camelbak (Scooter) - see pic of both of them for size comparison. I will be purchasing two more of these so we all have one!

Great product, well priced, competes with name brands with ease.
I really like this water backpack. I have an osprey and I love it, but this one works just as well with a few extra cfeatures. It has an insulated inside so the water will stay cool longer. It also has a larger backpack, and I like that the straw bit has its own sweater. I guess it’s nice to know there’s a little extra protection. Seems well-made. I guess it’s not as attractively designed as the Osprey, but I really don’t notice. It does its job well enough where it doesn’t matter. I would buy this product again.

Good backpack
Unfortunately I did not get it in red. I received 2 purples instead of one purple and one red. Overall, it meet its purpose. Easy to use. Light weight. I like that it has a couple of pockets. The material looks durable and feels strong.

Perfect pack for short hikes
I took this pack on a weeklong trip through the Pacific Northwest and it was perfect for my daily hikes. The water bladder was durable and didn’t leak. Because it is insulated, the water stayed cool. The extra pocket held my phone and snacks. Plus, I was able to attach my hiking poles through the bungee straps. It’s very lightweight. I feel like there’s a lot of value in this bag for the cost. I especially liked the lower waist strap. My husband’s pack didn’t have that and I had more comfort on our hikes. It is a little challenging to get the bladder fully dry after cleaning so be prepared to use a towel to manually dry it. Otherwise, it’s perfect.

Good little cheap water pack
I hike a lot and work outside. It's nice to throw this on and put a few things in it and be good for the day. It's lightweight, rip resistant, and works well. Even before I lost weight it fit fine on me.

Just what she wanted!
My daughter wanted this and reported she took it on a 3 hour hike with her daughter and her bulldog. She said full of water and snacks it was comfortable to carry

Great Purchase!
I purchased 3 of these backpacks for a recent trip to Yosemite National Park. They are great quality, have space for extra small things you may want to carry with you like phones, cool towels, small first aid kits etc. The water bags are great quality and the hoses clip in securely and didn’t leak. We filled the water bags and put them in the fridge overnight and the insulated pocket of the backpack kept the water pretty cold all day. The shoulder straps are comfortable and there are other small pockets on the straps that wrap around your waist to secure the backpack. I would purchase this again if ever needed!
