I absolutely love this bookbinder. It’s my first time trying this kind of craft and I’m really impressed. It’s so easy to use. It took me a minute to figure out which way to press the wires, but once I got the hang of it, I was flying. The binds come out perfect every time. Just make sure you set the dial on the side to match the size of your wires. It’s compact, sits nicely on my desk, and was simple to put together. I’m really glad I spent a little extra for a good-quality binder. One thing I would say is to keep it somewhere permanent if you can. I have lots of crafting tools that I pack away between uses, but because this binder is quite heavy, I wouldn’t recommend constantly moving it. It’s much better left out on your desk ready to go.

First experience of a binding machine, added to my business to produce calendars and notebooks etc took me awhile to master pressing the wires to close them neatly but once I got the hang of it, it really is easy. Very pleased, worth spending the extra for the disengaging pins to be able to make different sized items etc

Delivered safely. Works like is should. Much lighter than expected for a heavy duty business machine. Page margin adjustment colour (on the left side) do not line up correctly. Apart form that working well with no issues. Recommended.

As a commercial printer I wasn't sure whether this would be suitable for my needs but it is actually a robust well made heavy duty machine and produces first class wiro bound books equally as good as a machine that costs more than 5 times as much.

Solid build

Didn't align the punched holes straight on A4 paper by 1mm. Maybe not a big difference but was essential and noticeable for the work I do.

I really hate this machine. IT is almost impossible to line it up correctly and consequently I waste so much paper. But worse than that is that is wastes so much time and I am literally in a state before I start to use it. The adjuster at the side no longer works and the small adjuster on the front which is supposed to line paper up accurately just doesn't do so. We bought two of these - a square hole and a round hole for use in two different offices and both give enormous trouble.

I wanted to make some custom ring-bound books for my D&D group, and this does the job nicely if expensively. Good solid action on the levers. Only issue I have is the ring-binder is a little finicky and doesn't always crimp evenly (the end towards the handle sometimes leaves a little, but I think there's a fair bit of operator error involved there as I've gotten prefect binds out of it. Otherwise works great. The hole selectors are very crisp, the depth selector works well, and no issues with feeding spiral bindings through the resulting punched. You need to do a little work to get Letter to punch evenly. Using the listed LETTER setting causes you to have half-punch. If you adjust it just a little bit past, you'll get nice even spacing.

It works! And that's most of the compliments I can give, the punches of this really are quite rough, and the initial oil it has to prevent rusting is nearly impossible to remove even after using the entire "cleaning cardboard" that barely carried any of it of when I went to actually punch paper The disengage-able pins also feel very harsh and are quite a hassle disable, and the amount of sheets you can put in feels a little off even in the 80-90gsm range, additionally getting them placed in the same spots seems to be quite tricky This is not a machine I could suggest when near the price of 200~
