I bought this Amazon Basics USB-A to USB-B 2.0 Cable for my printer, and it works exactly as it should. One of the best things about it is the length—10 feet really is 10 feet, giving me plenty of reach to set up my devices exactly where I want them. The price is great, making it an affordable alternative to more expensive cables without sacrificing performance. The gold-plated connectors provide a solid, reliable connection every time. Plugged it in and my printer showed up instantly with no driver drama or connection drops. The cable feels sturdy and the connectors fit snugly on both ends without any wiggle. I genuinely don't understand why anyone would spend more on a USB printer cable. This one works, it's cheap, and the build quality is way better than the random cables that come bundled with printers.

I purchased this 16 foot long USB-A to USB-B so called printer cable to install a new printer. It was recommended I install the printer using a wired connection rather than wirelessly to make sure all the needed software and updates actually got installed ok, which I guess people had been having some problems with when trying to set up this particular printer wirelessly. I am not sure I honestly chose the best option for the installation though, as the new printer works great, but only if this Amazon cable remains connected to both the printer and my laptop. Disconnect it and there is no printing whatsoever at the moment, but that is a different problem. I did actually purchase the longer cable length because of those concerns about wireless printing, and I am glad I did, as at least I do not have to be standing holding a laptop right next to the printer in order for it to print, and I can at least stretch the cable out into a different room up to 16 feet away. The printer cable got quite a work out yesterday, as I was rushing to print out a large and lengthly file that needs to be mailed out this weekend. The cable's connections to both my printer and my computer were tight and held well. The cord did not accidentally disconnect at either end because I stretched the new cord out as far as it would reach. Because my computer uses USB-C and has no USB-A port, the one end of the printer cord actually had to first be connected to a USB-A to USB-C cord, then finally connected to the computer. The cord itself is very flexible, and not at all stiff, making to easy to stretch out completely flat going in any direction. Overall, if I ever needed another one, I would not hesitate to purchase it again, as it is well made.

Pros: My printer switch gave out and this is a workable alternative to juggle one printer and two computers. This works and printed with no problem. Black color works well with my computer setup. Using a hook allows the cord to be flexibly used between two computers. This has gold plated contacts which will improve performance, and is priced very competitively to other cables. Cable is compatible with my older desktop computers. Cons: USB Type A Mail part was a bit snug going into my HP 595 computer. Yes I'd buy this again, I like Amazon Basics cables and this one performed well. I'd recommend to friends and family. bdv

The cable does what it suppose to do, nothing special or impressive

I needed a long cable with this configuration and this one fits the bill. It's sturdy and works flawlessly. No issues at all and no data loss ever.

This cable has the high quality 'feel' to it that I expected. But I immediately noticed an extra unexpected 'perk' when I was unboxing it. The box was a little bit bigger than it could have been, and this turned out to be because the cable was rolled up in a slightly larger/looser way than most other outfits would probably have done it. Beautiful! No kinks or bends that would take hours to slowly work out of a long cable like this! For people who like to have neat-looking 'cable management' this was a lifesaver detail!

Ho acquistato questo cavo (versione da 4,8 m) per alimentare e programmare una scheda Arduino. Cosa mi è piaciuto: - La lunghezza reale: I 4,8 metri sono effettivi e fanno la differenza. Posso tenere il progetto sul banco di lavoro e il PC sotto la scrivania senza alcun problema. - Affidabilità: Nonostante la lunghezza notevole (che su cavi USB economici a volte porta a perdite di segnale o alimentazione insufficiente), la connessione con la scheda è stabile e l'alimentazione è costante. - Rapporto qualità-prezzo: Per quello che costa, la qualità costruttiva è sorprendente. I connettori sembrano solidi e l'innesto è preciso, non "balla" nella porta USB. Cosa manca: - Gestione del cavo: Unico piccolo appunto (che non pregiudica il funzionamento ma sarebbe stato gradito): manca un laccetto in velcro per raccogliere il cavo quando non si usa. Molti altri prodotti Amazon Basics lo includono, qui sarebbe stato utilissimo vista la lunghezza del filo. In conclusione: Se vi serve un cavo "da battaglia" per stampanti, scanner o, come nel mio caso, per prototipazione elettronica che richiede distanza dal PC, questo è imbattibile. Robusto ed economico.
