A Must Have for Quick Cleanup
I went back and forth trying to decide if I spend the money on this vacuum. I noticed it offered from various sellers for various prices. I finally broke down and purchased it at the lowest price, knowing if I needed to return it, it would probably be a pain and I would just be out the $100.... Well, it has far exceeded my expectations. I have only used it three times, but it is amazing! After I first charged it, I turned it on and thought this thing is going to suck. It had NO suction. Well then I was told that it had to be placed in the water for it to work. I have a 30' round above ground pool. I just mowed the land and the entire pool floor was covered in patches of dirt. This thing cleaned the entire floor in about 40 minutes. I attached it to my standard pole. I did get in the pool to use it. It is amazing. the micro bag picks up everything. It did get a little muddy and hard to dump out while still in pool, but it didn't stop it from working. The battery lasted the entire time. I figure, for the price, if it lasts me through end of next year, it's worth it! I have the expensive pool robot, but the micro bag on this works much better. The robot just stirs up the dirt and it resettles. This one sucks it up and it's gone! I highly recommend it!

just what I needed
Bought this for my small 81 gal fountain...which gets a regular covering of silt every couple of days...This little water vacuum is great...wish i had bought it when it was $60! But I bought it for $100 (I see it for much more else where). Worth the money in the long run. Recently I bought an above ground pool 12' x 12' round...this vacuum also cleans the silt it accumulates and the small leaves...so much better than the hose system! Easily attaches to my extension pool pole. Another impressive thing is that it is not battery it holds a great charge if fully charged for the entire pool & fountain sweeping. I use the micro bag it comes with to collect the silt & small leaves, the bag it comes with is very good too. Super easy to clean, and has a good powerful suction for a small vacuum. Some reviewers have complained it's too small. But I Love it!!! Does the job just fine.

Cleaning the Pool is so EASY
I have a vinyl pool in a small yard surrounded by neighbors with big trees. As a result, I get all kinds of leaves and silt in the pool. I wanted something easy to use, lightweight, but powerful. The Catfish can clean my entire pool with one charge. It's small and the bag inside is really small. I didn't think it would work but it does. It sucks up all the leaves into that little bag. Cleaning the bag is super easy. Take it out, flip it inside out and run it under the faucet. I had read that it didn't do great with sand or dirt. It works great. I found the trick is to clean the sand first (before the leaves) and to go slow. My pool is just as clean as bigger pools I've had where you connect the hose to the pool system. But this device is so simple and effective. For a small pool or even as an "in between" cleaning for bigger pools, this is great. Very happy with the purchase.

TERRIBLE POOL VACUUM-DON'T BUY
Was delivered a day late to start... then when we opened the package it looked like maybe (?) It had been used and then returned before (?)... But the directions for use were in an unopened, sealed bag... so maybe not used??? Anyhow, we connected it together, charged the battery... put on the "micro filter" bag (which looks like a cheap nylon footie panty hose btw)... turned it on and gave it a try... 1) it barely sucked anything off the bottom of our above-ground pool... 2) what it did suck up after going into the filter bag it blew right back into the pool through the slots in the side of the vacuum. You get what you pay for... and this thing is JUNK. I just took it back apart, rinsed it off, put it back in it's box and I'm returning it today... not even three hours after we received it. I don't understand why people are giving this thing decent ratings... I would have given it a "0" if that was an option.

Super impressed with this pool vac!
I am really impressed by this Pool Blaster Catfish pool vacuum! My pool is 16x24 ft with a 6 ft deep end. I like to keep it really clean and using the hose to the pump is such a pain! So I wanted something to get all the little bits off the pool bottom without having to fight with the hose. Boy did this thing deliver! When I opened the box I felt like it seemed kind of cheap. Well the proof of how good it works was in the filter when I was done. I couldn't believe how much it sucked up! And it stayed charged the entire time I vacuumed the entire pool. I've only owned it for 3 days at this point so I can't speak to the longevity of the product. But for the moment I'm a happy customer!

Very Small And To Light Weight
This pool vacuum is very small. The head is only 7" wide. It was recommnded by a relative and she said she does her whole above ground pool with it and loves it but she cleans the pool while she is in it. I wanted to clean my from my deck. My 2 biggest complaint is 1. When you twist the nozzel on sometimes it stays and other times it falls off when you are vacuuming the pool and then you have to fish the head out of the pool and what every dirt was in the nozzel is now back in your pool. 2. The vacuum is to light to stay on the bottom of the pool when you are trying to vacuum the middle of the pool. It keeps floating up to the top and that defects the purpose. It would work good if you just had a small pool that isn't very tall. I have a 24' above ground round pool.

Okay I realize that I live in Australia where things are a bit different to the US, and so I knew that my pool pole might not fit and the charger might not handle 240 volt mains. But that wasn’t what disappointed me. I bought this for a specific purpose – vacuuming up fine dirt and algae from a long shallow infinity pool overflow tank that is too narrow for a robotic cleaner. After resolving the pole issue – I had to buy a US-sized one due to the plastic receiver being 0.4 mm too large to fit the internal diameter of my standard Aussie pool pole – and finding that the charger did indeed cater for 240 volt mains – I started vacuuming. Yes it definitely does hoover up debris, at least when pushing, but when pulling back it has an annoying tendency to lift up. However I persevered, and before long the bag was full, so time to remove it and empty it, which is when I discovered how difficult it is to remove the clear plastic bag holder with wet hands. Inconvenient to say the least, since this is something that needs to be done often due to the small size of the bag. Now although the Catfish was sucking, a lot of the finer debris I was trying to get rid of simply passed straight through, so I attempted to fit the supplied fine filter bag as per the instructions. Well that was a no go. When I placed the filter bag over the gasket as shown in the instructions it became impossible to reattach without running the risk of breaking something due to the already tight clearances, so I didn’t proceed. Surely they could have supplied filter bags already fitted to a gasket instead of this fairly mickey-mouse method. I have generally had fairly good luck purchasing more expensive “US-made” product instead of lower cost Chinese-made product, but this isn’t one of those cases. It is inconvenient to use and doesn’t really perform the way I expected it to given the price.

Al aspirar el polvo de la alberca este mismo sale por un lado de el dispositivo haciendo así ineficiente el producto, ademas el material es un plastico y no es tan facil de usar NO sirve para nada!
