Brilliant composter
Was a little bit of a faff to build but I have been using this for 6 months now and it’s been great. Composts well and perfect for keeping rats at bay. Does leak a little but I put a tray underneath and use any leakage to feed to my plants.

Solid
Easy assembly. Sturdy construction. Could be improved by a simple handle to turn barrel.

As described
Feels very solid now it’s constructed, assembly instructions aren’t the best but eventually made sense! Feels rock solid. It misses having a brake to keep it in place when opening the sliding hatches as they ideally need to be at the top and also doesn’t look the easiest to get the compost out as the opening aren’t that big. Overall I’d recommend but with the caveat it could be difficult to get the compost out. Mines coming along nicely especially now I’ve added about 2000 red worms to help it along! Lots of rich looking material now 👍

Very impressed
Very impressed by the quality of this product. I’ve only just put together so can’t comment on the composting yet but wanted to let you know that it’s pretty easy to put together (you’ll need a Philips screwdriver for the main body and a 10mm socket/spanner/pliers to connect to the frame). It feels nice and sturdy. It spins freely when empty but can’t comment on when it’s full but it has grips for turning so should be fine. After a lot of research this was the one I chose as other tumblers seem to have an issue with turning when full. Overall very pleased but will have to wait and see what the compost comes out like.

Excellent composter
My husband built this, thinking it would be easy. I’m not sure what was difficult but he said it was really difficult to put together, though once done it’s brilliant. Really helps with the composting as spinning it helps speed up the process. It’s a great size too. I would definitely buy another, but I’d build it!!!!

Quite good
I wanted to start composting but had no intention of manually mixing it so I got a tumbling compost bin. I am very glad I did. I compared two similar compost piles, one in a standard composter and one in this tumbler. The tumbler did speed things up significantly. The tumbler does take a while to assemble but it is very straighforward. It's hard to know how long this tumbler will last, but I am not convinced it is all that sturdy. I keep each chamber half full, which seems to be as much as this tumbler can handle. Speaking of handle, it would be easier to spin this thing with a handle. Tumbling can be quite a workout!

Poor design
The composter is quite large and does work... however there are severe drawbacks. It is incredibly difficult to put together. The process is very fiddly and time consuming. Once set up, it seems to work well and is easy enough to turn - until it begins getting filled up. We've experienced severe problems with the metal screws holding each panel in place - they simply started snapping off over time due to the ever increasing weight of material inside. It's gotten so bad that two of the panels opened up, spilling a lot of the compost onto the floor. We had to resort to using large amounts of gaffer tape to hold it together. I wouldn't buy it again as it's way more hassle than it's worth.

Seems to be doing the job
Assembly of the central divider was a bit fiddly and I could have done with longer arms when I was tightening nuts inside but other than that it went together very quickly. It's been filled for about 3 weeks and although it's the middle of winter the contents are definitely compacting. Very easy to rotate to aid aeration, a bit like a large tombola.

Ouvertures trop petites. Manque une manivelle pour faire tourner sans mettre les mains dans le jus de poubelle. Mauvaises odeurs autour donc fermente mal.
