GoSports Down The Line 10 ft Putting String Guide - Golf Alignment Training Aid, Master Straight and Breaking Putts

I’ve been sidelined from swinging the golf club for the last couple of weeks, so I decided to break out a couple of training aids to help me improve my putting. One is the Shaun Webb putting mirror (highly recommended) and the other is the go sports down the line putting string and sticks. You might be able to make something that kind of works for less money, but I don’t think you could do it for much cheaper and I don’t think it would be as good a quality as this product. I’ve really enjoyed using it and sets up quickly to help me groove a quality putting stoke. I like to use an alignment line on my ball to ensure I’m aiming right where I think I am, but I don’t like to bend down on every single putt when I’m practicing. This allows me to quickly put it in the correct spot and helps train my brain to see the correct line. The line used is a neon green line that stands out and the sticks are heavy duty. Overall, great product and well worth the money.

This product is a golf changing aid. I don't write many reviews for golf aids, but I had to with this product. I tried it the first time today (9/9/24), and made 46/51 putts, it was incredible how this aid helped me read the green. If you want to improve your putting, try this aid. Kind of pricey considering all it is 2 sticks and plastic string. However, it is an effective putting training aid. I keep it in my bag to use before a round.

Sure, you could make a homemade version, but this product is so well put together, it's worth the money. I like the bright yellow line which makes it easy to see. The bright red stakes make tiny holes and have plastic protectors when not in use. I like the sleeve that holds it. When not in use, it easily fits in your bag so it's always available. If you practice with a line on your ball, you can match that line to the string. When you can't see the line on the ball, your eyes are set perfectly.

Recommended as a golf training tool at the range and truly helps

Sure you can get a couple of sticks and tie a random rope to them and have it do almost the same thing here. However, this putting guide is made of high quality material and even the carrying case is nicely made. Stays very compact when you wrap things up and put them in the carrying case. Watch Youtube videos if you don't know how to use a putting string. It has certainly helped me by providing instant feedback on my eye line and stroke path.

after receiving it in the mail I was relieved to see it is high quality and I am sure will last forever as long as I take care of it. I am using the Putting String Guide with a finger ten putting alignment mirror and it fits perfecting in the center holes near the back of the mirror making it easy to use the two products together. Pretty pumped to make this part of my regular practice routine this year to improve my putting.
