Fantastic lock, the ideal size for use on a pelican case. The lock feels nice and solid.

Just the job Feel durable enough (how long the red lanyard between the bolt and lock will last is open to question) and an interesting design in terms of how easily it could be removed by a potential thief. But hey! The cases are made of plastic so more likely a determined thief would cut through the case around the bolt than try and take on the lock!!! The intention really is to act as a visual deterrent and stop any unwanted opening of the case while being handled in transit and its suffice for that. I own a few other Peli and Explorer cases and the locks seem to sit fine with them too. Although Nanuk have obviously designed their case to provide a a shield around the the bolt to make accessing with a cutting tool difficult (I reckon with a cordless Dremel through the plastic you'd have the lock out in under 2 mins).

A good strong lock, very easy to use, built solid.

Great lock, I've seen other people mention the rubber part coming off or being able to break it but its the pin itself going through the top of the case and connecting to the lock is what holds it together!
