I decided to buy the model with the barometer. It’s off a full 5.0 hg, but what do you expect for the price. Altitude is off on average some 450-500 feet. That’s the worst news. And altitude is livable for my use. However the wind turbine is incredibly sensitive I would give it a 5+. If the rating scale offered graduated marks I would have rated it overall 3.5 for my use. I use it for long range shooting 300-800 yards.

I use it mainly for testing the wind speed before spraying chemicals to minimize drift. works good for that. I wish the settings would stay were you put them instead of having to reset them every time. I think its pretty accurate, but I don't have anything to compare it to. Does the job for what I need it for.

The barometric pressure side is way off , it's 51 inHG off , even watched it go backwards ? Esp when the barometer is steady according to the national weather station near me !

So far, works great and measures even low winds.

Instructions are terrible! All the buttons in the sheet don't match up etc. Didn't they test this out? You know, give it to someone and watch as they figure it out. Oh well. I got what I needed I guess. Small, lightweight, comes with a bag, that's nice. The battery cover is screwed down and they include a screwdriver. Comes with batteries.
