Love these black socks that fit and aren't yo bulky for my shoes!

I'm a big fan of Gold Toe socks. The extended size and the protective toe area are wonderful features. Originally, I expected these socks to be thick like some of my other Gold Toe socks, so I was surprised upon opening up the package. Still, I can use these. I am still looking for the thick, Gold Toe extended size black crew socks. If anyone knows where to find them, please post this information.

The socks fit a little large around my feet, which I like as my toes don't get jammed up. But they are a little to tight around my ankles which makes my feet swell up.

I have bought these socks, in their various colors as well as in white, for several years and they have always been just binding enough to stay up but not loose enough to fall down. In fact, the heel always wears through before the top becomes too loose to stay up, lol. Was down to my final pair of non-worn-through white ones, so I ordered these. Don't know what they have done to the tops, either accidentally or on purpose, but all of the socks in this order are SO INCREDIBLY TIGHT around the tops that they are almost actually painful. They certainly cannot be worn by anyone who is diabetic or has leg circulation issues. Close examination of the top edge shows that there is now a thin line of elastic that is not there in the older versions. They also changed the packaging which actually is easier to remove the socks from, but the socks themselves are now so tight that "non-binding" is a complete lie. I put them through one wash, as usual and as instructed on the packaging ("wash before wearing") but these are SO being returned for being not as described.

These are soft and comfortable. Not too heavy and stay up well. I will buy again.

I like the socks, they fit good but I feel they are still a little binding.

I wear size 12 ladies shoes, so was glad to order socks that are long enough. These fit as expected and are a good light fabric. Disappointment is that they are advertised as having reinforced toes, but the first day that I wore a pair, the fabric on the big toe wore thin almost to a hole.

I was looking for the perfect thin cotton socks that didn’t have binding tops to make indents on my calves. These are great! And the gold reinforced toe is a definite plus.I have two older gold toe pairs similar to these that are still wearing well. And that’s saying something because I tend to get holes in everything.

These are lightweight but the ankle portion is tiny, is a bit difficult to get on, and hugs my calf more tightly than I prefer. Will not buy again.

They fall down and bunch up at the bottom.

Pretty much what I expected. Wish Goldtoes would sell similar style socks with higher cotton content...like 98%? 99%? or 100%! Couldn't find them, so I settled for the ones I bought.
