I'm using this adapter with my 8bitdo Ultimate 2 Wireless controller in a switch 2 and it's working great. I've only used it for like an hour, but everything is working and if something changes I'll update this review. It is important to know that the adapter doesn't come ready to work, or at least mine didn't. I had to go to the 8 bitdo web page and download the firmware installer and then update the firmware in the adapter. I spent quite sometime trying to pair the adapter and the controller before realizing the adapter had it own software. The fact that the adapter works with Bluetooth is great, because the adapter that came with the controller is 2.4, so I can switch between them pretty seamlessly. The USB Type C adapter is a really nice addition too.

This works well when using my ps4 controller for gaming on my pc with windows 10 pro. I used to have to use a USB cable before to play games because windows 10 doesnt seem to support ps4 controllers via bluetooth for some reason. Windows will recognize the ps4 controller as a wireless controller, but the buttons will not work. Anyhow, this awesome little product solved that! I plugged it into a USB 3.0 port, pushed the pair button on the device and pushed the share and ps4 center button for 3 to 5 seconds and the ps4 controller light pulsed white before pairing and turning green. I started playing The Witcher 3 to test it out. It seems to work really well with barely any noticeable input lag compared to using the USB cable. Definitely download the controller software. It makes it easy to change button layouts, rgb lights, vibration functions and the like. I would definitely recommend buying this if you want to use a ps4 controller on windows. Oh, and for the price of 10 bucks you can't go wrong. I'll be buying another for my phone and switch.

Alright listen yall. I didn't thin it would work out of the box, Im gonna be honest with you. After reading the reviews, I had next to no expectations that it would do what it was intended to do. HOWEVER..I pulled the thing out the box, opened it, tried the "instructions" that were basically none exist, but whatever. It was completely plug and play. I bought this for my Dualshock ps4 controller on PC so I wouldn't have to worry about having a wire sit in my lap. I put the USB in, synced up the controller, and..that was it! Im playing my game right now without issue. Now I gave this a 4 star, because the type-c wire that came with it was obviously used for something else prior. There was some broken plastic on it, which is a bit hard to see on camera. The wire also doesnt have a flush connection with the USB, there is still metal sticking out, which I didn't like. Given other reviews I also don't know if this product will really last this long, but I'll be writing about this again if it doesn't have some longevity. But so far..for the money? Did its job.~

I've been using this adapter for a PS4 controller for years. Connects easily, great input speed, and a quality product. I believe it works with a number of controllers, but I've only used it for the PS4 one. Still, it's held up well over the years.

Super easy function to hook up a controller to. The addition of the usb a to usb c adapter added incredible value to the overall package and was fantastic for portable use. I experienced minimal lag while using the adapter. Both rumble and motion works with the DualShock 4 controller. Would buy again.

I purchased this dongle to eliminate the lag when using my SN30 Pro controllers with my rpi4/retropi. Boy was I in for a treat. Trying to connect the wireless adapter 2 to the rpi4/retropi then connecting the SN30 Pro controllers to the wireless adapter it an absolute NIGHTMARE. There is no support within the manuals, they are simply trash. No online support, and countless search results of people troubleshooting for HOURS using the trial and error method. Never purchasing 8BitDo products again. Learned my lesson and lost countless hours trying to get this POS to work.

Maintenant il peut jouer a smash avec ses cousins sans devoir se partager les petites joycon qui sont désagréable en jeu. Il était super content donc je recommande !

Acquisto consigliatissimo se avete un pad in più che non usate questo è ciò che fa per voi e risparmiate 😬✌🏻

I had been struggling to get into any switch games, coming from PC I wasn't that used to using a controller, but I knew that my PS5 controller was a much better experience in the few games that I'd played with it on. So I finally decided to get this after seeing it ages ago, it makes my PS5 controller just work perfectly on switch with no noticeable lag or issues; I now use it on all my devices just move the dongle over to my PC or Steam deck dock and the controller instantly pairs, so now I no longer have to play wired or futz about with Bluetooth settings each time I change device. The controller's gyro even works in Zelda with the bow, something that took me by surprise. I wholeheartedly recommend this to anyone not wanting to splash the cash on a Switch Pro controller and use their favourite controller on any device.
