I used the EFIELD Push Fit 1/2" x Dual 3/8" OD Compression Straight Stop Valve when adding a dishwasher to my kitchen, and it worked like a charm. The installation was straightforward, and the push-fit design made it easy to connect the plumbing without any special tools. Replumbed my whole double wide mobile home with PEX and these Efield push fits, after repeatedly having to repair frozen CPVC pipes the last few winters. They're easy to deal with and I have yet to have any leak. I also Installed a tankless water heater, after our big old 50 gallon tank style water heater went out, using copper pipe and these same Efield fittings (elbows, straight connections, ball valves etc). Great value with these products.

A lot of newer homes, cheaper homes, or manufactured homes use a lot of plastic and glue. Once these plastic valves give out, This can be a pain in the butt for people who don't have plumbing experience or don't want to pay big bucks for a plumber. Some people are simply not sure what glue to use or are uncomfortable working with glue. These push on pressure fittings are an amazing solution. I have one on my hot water that is 3 years old and still no leaks, and I just replaced my cold water last weak. All you need is a clean cut and it just slides down and locks into place. Note that if your supply hoses that run to your faucet have no slack in them, you may need to buy longer ones and replace those as well, as you're going to lose about an inch in pipe length even if you cut it right at the base of the valve. All you need is a hacksaw to do the job. Oh and of course make sure you have your water shut off first, if not when you cut the valve out you're going to have free flowing water.

Solved my problem of installing both a bidet attachment and a bidet shower to the toilet.
