💯 Should have gotten it sooner !!!
Haven’t used a Scope since my days in US Army 1979! Worked in a Radio & TV Shop for 8 years afterwards then got out of electronics. Now Retired & getting back into it. Wish it would have come w/ the Signal Generator it’s shown in the picture but all in all seems like a Great Product. I like the layout of the general controls. Now learning the more advanced features. At this point, there isn’t anything I don’t like about it. Wish it was a greater bandwidth, but wouldn’t be able to afford it; so glad to have this scope. Doesn’t have internal battery, so one less thing to go wrong!! Just plugs direct into power outlet.

Its an Oscilloscope...
I wanted one and finally bought one.. now i'm going to take some advanced courses so i can fully utilize this machine.

Great osciliscope
It indicates 200Mhz on the front panel but real maximum frequency I could measure on it was about 540Mhz. Which is great for such a class of oscilloscope. Has all features I need in my home hobby projects. Pretty precise measurements. I like it.

Amazing scope for the money
As already help me locate problems that my old analog scope wouldn't

Would have been 5 stars...
Was thrilled with the features of this scope at the reasonable price but found that Siglent may have quality issues with their scopes (or maybe it's simply a design flaw). Within 5 minutes of turning it on for the first time I found that the probe compensation circuit at the 100 mV/div level was seriously flawed. NOTE: See update below. The scope is unusable at this level due to both a skewed waveform and a shift downward (see attached video). I was using the built in square wave generator to test. I tried several different working probes including a high quality Tektronix brand; all yielded the same results. In doing some research I noticed the Siglent SDS1202X-E had probe compensation issues and that it was a design flaw in all scopes that had a "BA" in the serial number. Apparently in scopes with "BB" serial numbers the issue had been resolved in hardware. This scope, model SDS2202X-E also had "BA" in the serial number so I'm not sure if it is just coincidence but I have requested a replacement and we'll see what I get back and if it has the same issue (hopefully not). Will update this review with my findings. UPDATE: The new scope came and had the same issue. I noticed that when using the probe without attenuation (1X) the problem occurs however when using the probe at 10X (with ten times signal attenuation) the scope works as I expected it should. Technically in this way you can get all the way to 500 µV/div but I doubt that it would be useful in that range. I very rarely use an oscilloscope below 1 V/div anyway so I'm happy with it. It would have been better to specify the lower end of the range at 200 mV/div... honestly if that had been the case then I would have had nothing to complain about and I'd have given it 5 stars.

Very Nice Scope!
As a retired and seasoned electronics engineering technician I can say that I really like this Scope! I just received it a few minutes ago and have become very familiar with it most essential features! Yes the screen quality is excellent and the user interface is easy for me to navigate, probably because I am very familiar with electronic instruments of all types! A beginner should be able to figure out the menus with a bit of work! Any scope for a beginner can be daunting and a bit bewildering but can be mastered with familiarity! Electronics is not an easy subject to master and neither are the instruments used in its practice! But yes, I would recommend this instrument, because of its features, to seriously motivated beginners, as well as to experienced professionals!

200 Mhz Bandwidth and 2 Gig. samples/second
I purchase this direct from Siglent about a year ago. I use it as a general purpose scope and I have found it to be very accurate and easy to use. It has all the math functions including FFT. The sales dept. at Siglent was very helpful in making my selection for my needs. I have used it to build and analyze my first SMPS Flyback power supply and found it to be indispensable. I have not pushed the limits of the scope as of yet but based on my experience I would not hesitate to purchase a Siglent product.

Warning about using SAG1021I with SDS2202X-E
So I just got the Scope and the AWG module, also bought a licence for it too. I have found out the AWG doesn't generate arbitrary waveforms when used with the SDS2202X-E. Support claimed it doesn't work unless you have a 4 channel scope. However their product websites and manual for the scope claims it does. I am currently awaiting their resolution to this misleading or vaporware feature. Also the cost of the licence is another 130 dollars on top of the 160 bucks for the SAG1021I, it look like you are better off(more features) just spending an extra 30 dollars for their cheaper stand alone units. I have not had a chance to push the scope, but this issue has irked me, so we will give only 3 stars.

Muy buena calidad y poco ruido en la señal, lo recomiendo mucho.

Good value for money too. Value for money 5/5. I am biased because it is my first scope, and having any scope at all is filling a huge missing piece in my ability to make and troubleshoot circuits properly, but this scope is fantastic, I absolutely love it. It hooks up to LAN or with USB and everything. My one small complaint which is so small it doesn't bring down my rating at all is, the web UI has a section called "Instrument Control", where it shows you what's on-screen on the scope right in the web browser in near real-time, however, this visual representation page does not offer any ability to control the scope remotely, so I'm not sure why the page is called "Instrument Control". There is a great command-line remote control feature anyway which is well supported by some free open source software named "lxi-tools", and you can also issue the commands through the web UI on a different page which has no visual representation of the what's happening on the scope. It's good enough for me, and this is all really a big bonus to have anyway on-top of it already being great at just being a scope, which it does very well. So consider it a nitpick, and not a true complaint. With lxi-tools, it's trivial to download screencaps from the scope's display, and with some simple scripting, you can easily download many screencaps and encode them into a video using something like ffmpeg. In my tests I was able to get several frames per second from it over a LAN connection, so the videos look great and not choppy at all. The web UI also doesn't seem to have a setting to use https and supply a certificate to keep the communication channels encrypted, so for any serious network hookup, I would put an Nginx reverse proxy in front of it. I read somewhere that it also has a known backdoor, so it should probably be firewalled tightly to prevent people from getting into it from the internet, or else just keep it on a trusted LAN with no Internet link. As for the technical specs of the scope, I have no idea what I'm doing, but I didn't manage to break it within the first week or two of use, so like I said in the headline, this scope is quite thick. The leads are easy to calibrate, and the precision seems good for what I'm using it for. I would buy it again, even though it's very expensive and no-one can afford that.

This scope supports Serial Decoding out of the box, easy to use, easy to set up, lots of features, There are 3 features that have 30 use trials then you need to purchase the license to use them, I think this is a bit of a money grab since you have to buy their hardware to use these features so I gave it a 4 out of 5. It does serial decode I2C,SPI,UART,CAN and LIN without a special license so that is the only reason I purchased it. I does support Ethernet without a license however if you want WiFi you have to purchase their dongle and pay a license fee to use it. So no WiFi for me. I would pay for the dongle but not the license...
